dump
This course is a dump the fairways are full of clover and weeds. There are ball washers on some holes but not all. My golf league plays here and i have been trying to get them to move but due to location they keep coming here.As said in an other review staff is rude. The topper is in my league they charge us 27 buck to ride 9 holes. Not worth it. Went by the other day and the front east holes 1and 2 are closed because the bridges over the creek are not usable. This would be a great place for a wal mart.
Greens were impressive
Greens are the best part of this course...Garbage pails on every hole were overflowing on every hole, not sure how this could be for a Sunday afternoon??? This could be a real nice place if it was giving some more time and care.
Best hotdogs around
Average course that plays well, nothing crazy but also not in bad condition. Like stated above, half the reason for coming to the course is the hotdogs alone they are amazing and always grilled to order
It’s Exactly what you want for what it is
This course is perfect for what it’s trying to be. Nothing pristine but that’s not what your paying for here. Course was a great time on a Friday night for my wife and I and another couple with us. Paced moved well, great value and greens are in pretty good shape.
Like Playing in Your Backyard
Undefined fairways with rough terrain throughout. It was truly like playing in your backyard. The cart was also terrible and many times took a while to get it to move
Very poor quality
Not a terrible course for the first round of the year, but wouldn't play here again. Can't recommend this course unless you're on a stringent budget or don't take golf too seriously. There is basically no fairway; you're either in the rough or rougher. Tee-boxes are littered with divots. Although the greens are not good and very slow, they were surprisingly the best kept part of the course.
Course is below average
Pace of play was horrible. It took us 2.5 hrs to play 9 holes. Fairways were below average conditions and looked like someone’s back yard. Someone’s golf cart died in the middle of the fairway and it was there until we finished our round of 18 holes. Likely won’t come back again.
Kind of a dog track…
Holes are repetitive. Not a challenging course. A bit tired. On the plus side the greens were in excellent shape.
Lack of improvements
We have been coming to this course for 40+ years. There has been no improvements to the golf course itself. The cart paths are terrible. Tee boxes are terrible. Some of the women’s tee boxes are just markers stuck in the fairway.
great value
enjoyed a fall round-and-a-half on north, east, and west courses. it was awesome that we were able to move around since there was a group in front. 1 move and we had all the space we needed.
TERRIBLE Pace This Round
We called in and scheduled a tee time. Turns out they let anyone who wanted to golf also jump in without a reservation. That meant an average of 15-20 wait PER HOLE to tee off because of the extras they let in. Tee time was 11:08am, and we didn’t finish the 18th until approx 4:40pm. When we asked the Starter, he shrugged and said “Yeah, when the weather is nice everyone wants to come play!” Extremely frustrating and would have just come another day, but had prepaid.
The first two holes on the east are open again, and the plan to build a $250k cart bridge has been approved. As a regular of maple lane, I have heard that If your league prepays, or if you get one of the prepaid golf cards in March, you can save a minimun of $5 a round. $160 for ten rounds, or $300 for 20. Good deal!
