Vassar Golf & Country Club

The course was in good shape, except for the sand traps they need maintenance. Pace of play was outstanding our twosome finished in 2h40m. The greens, fairways, and rough were in good condition. 3 of the holes were redirected/changed this year to add a driving range and they should be marked better it was hard to know where to hit the drive. Overall, worth the money.

Played 18 holes and had a great time. the course was in excellent condition. You can tell it is taken care of with care. Not too difficult but makes you think. Looking forward to playing there again.

Course was in good shape and pro shop guy was friendly. The course was pretty busy, but thankfully all the slower groups let me and partner play through.

This course is a good confidence builder for a great price. Clubhouse is small. Front nine and back nine are very different from each other. Greens are always in excellent shape. Just changed holes 4 through 6 and they are much better now.

We have played this before, and just wanted fun course for the day. Course was nice shape, friendly staff, and true to form it's not long, you still have to hit a shot. We will play this again, and at $10.00 per person on golf now, this made for a great afternoon outing.

The course is changing it's layout. That being said, it is a good course for beginners, or players that are looking to be able to work on their game without getting into too much trouble on the course. There is some water, some bunkers, but nothing that will cause undo stress for most.

course wqs in good shape for late October. got a great deal to play, even at their fall rates. only paid $12 to play while other courses were still charging over $30. only issue was the amount of leaves on the course. made in difficult to find our golf balls even in the middle of the fairway.

Very Nice Course, Very friendly staff, and a great price thanks to Golf Now. It is that time of year and they have aerated the greens so lots of sand filled holes, tuff on putting..

Only a few on course on the day I visited. Recent heavy rain left some puddles on a couple of fairways on the front. Didn't effect play. Greens in great shape. Love to play number 18.

I think this is one of the top golf courses in Saginaw County.

Title says it all. Thought I scored a great deal for Vassar. My father grandfather and uncle all enjoy this course that was until we played a round of 18 that took over 5 hours from the whites. This was brutal. It included one he that took 30-40 min.

Let me explain... We arrive to see that the club championship is going on. We thought no big deal they were going off the back and we'll tee off 1 and just crazue through 18. There was no one... NO ONE on the front 9. They then said we were required to tee off on the back and follow the club championship. This was terrible. We waited every hole and then 30-40 min on hole 6 while they chased down the course professional for a ruling. ABSOLUTLEY terrible. There is no.reason why we couldn't have teed off the front. We would have never ran into anyone. This is why it.felt like we were being punished for getting a cheap tee time off of golfnow.

Vrey good condition, good hamburger for 3bucks, greens smoth and fast, nive variety of holes. Worth a play.

Wide fairways, quite a few trees for a course not carved out of a forest.

The course is in very good condition & is a great value for the price. The staff was very friendly as well.

The greens are excellent especially when you consider this place is in the middle of nowhere. Play early and you basically have the course to yourself.

I called 2 he's ahead of the scheduled tee time. " yes everything is set" they told me. When we arrived they had a tournament, were told at least 45 moon wait. Was over 1 1/2 hrs.

Live near this course and the grounds are getting better every season! kudos ground crew!!
