#10-#17-##18 on the back 9 need to be leveled out better they are now.
#3-#4-#5 on the front nine need to be leveled out better also, and all these holes I am speaking of are from the gold tees.

I think you need to get more current reviews in place of the 2015-2017 reviews because none of them mostly don't apply to the present front nine.
Overall Vassar is a great course to play. and the staff is great and will help you out in any way if they can.

Vassar Golf and Country Club is a great place to have an outing and just to have a great time playing golf. There are a few holes where the tees need some work and I am referring to the gold tees, but nothing a regular golfer couldn't handle. If you enjoy golfing for fun then this is the place to go!
The staff is a tremendous if you need help with your game or anything else you may need...they are there to help you.

The course is very well maintained. Staff was excellent, and very helpful. Some of the other golfers would not allow anyone to play through (there was only two of us)

We got their GolfNow hotdeal, $10 for 18 w a cart. Front 9 was excellent. Great fairways and greens 1-9! Back 9 was good but dry and hard through most of it. Saw their fall rates and can't wait to get back a few more times before it's too cold!

By far the best course in the immediate area. Greens and fairways in good shape. Most days pace of play is good. Staff is outstanding always ready to help. Front nine redesign is a work in progress. It's still a little awkward but its growing on me. You need to do a lot of thinking to play it well. The back is more straight forward.

the redesign of the front is horrible, fairways 2" thick, groung spongy, ball hit and stop no roll at all. back not bad, #8 tee box is 10yds off back of range (new). all in all the redesign ruined a relatively nice little course, I feel it was changed to make money off the not-so-good-golfers, not a course for the accomplished player

it was real bad the grass was real high the holes were all mixed up been playing this course for years and this is a very new low don't know why anyone would play it even for $15 unless you could play the back twice.

Sadly, they ruined the front nine of this course with recent redesign/rerouting. I played this course a lot during my younger years, and always loved the pArkland style, easy walk, great conditions and good greens. Whoever redid the front nine ruined it- long walk between tees, stupid doglegs, terrible par 3 for number 9, and a range they moved that is terrible, and the balks look like they are 29 years old

The back nine is still great- play it twice and the greens were good, rolled true and a little quick.

Indifferent staff inside- no cart services on course.

Please bring the front nine back or I won't be, neither will the 3 guys I played with and no doubt countless others

Great rate on golf now!! The guy working in the pro shop was just super. Played the front nine with some cool local gents - good thing because they have the front a little tangled up - changing the layout and it was a bit confusing.

Back nine was really outstanding with several picturesque greens surrounded by trees.
Great day overall - would like to come back when front is all reset!

The course was in pretty good shape considering the wet Spring. Greens were in good shape and decent speed. Most of the cups were slightly crowned, meaning not flat - this could be easily remedied if the greens keeper would utilize a plate designed to flatten the hole after it has been cut. This is common in the area, I don't know if it is laziness or lack of training. Overall, the round was enjoyable, the food is great people are friendly. There were 3 of us and we played in 3.5 hours. Definitely will play again. I rated it a 4, based on the condition of the course for the rate, don't expect a tour quality course for $27.

Overall very good. Holes haven't been cut in awhile.. Holes number four five and six need to be updated in sky caddie! That new hole you are trying to create #5 needs lot of work and a better plan

Beautiful fairways and condition. Better than bay valley, Saginaw valley golf and bay county....
There are a couple holes where they are upgrading. They could have a better scorecard. If you golf on some Mondays before noon you'll have the place to yourself. If you use an app for gps you'll have an easier time.

I got a deal to play for $18. It was worth it, just not for more money. There is a lot of dry/dead grass covering the course. It was my first time playing here and I'll tell you that yardage markers would be helpful. I don't believe that the majority of the holes had them; if so, they did not stand out

Course is going through some improvements, but would be great for beginner to Intermediate golfers.
Cannot figure out why there is no GHIN rating for this course. Too many other good courses around to recommend this one.

Course is in good condition and they are in the process of improvements on a few holes. If you have a chance to play Vassar you will have fun especially on the back nine.

Vassar was a fairly easy course. Some holes were challenging but overall had a good time. Some holes appeared to be changed (tee boxes moved, new fairways) but not that big of a deal. This course is well worth the trip to check out especially for the price. Once you've played, you can decide on coming back. As a 22 year old golfer playing with a buddy, I say, Check it out, play the round, have fun.

Played after an outing and had the whole course to our self. Beautiful day. Stayed for dinner after the round and had the Friday night fish. I have a membership at Vassar and went to GolfNow for my wife to play. $10.00 bucks on a prepay for 18 with a cart. AWESOME ! !
