5 hour round
Got off 30 minutes late because no carts were available. The pace of play was terrible. 5 hours.
Good time
Just in town visiting, I'm a bogey golfer. Super cheap price, great value for the course. Staff was great helped me team with some regulars for a fun day. Course is fun and fair, never felt like I saw the same hole twice. Greens are very difficult, and quick, but it's a challenge. All in all highly recommend.
Green Oak
Course was in great shape! fun course with very hard greens but pretty easy on approach shots and layout it was a little slow they day I went but overall good course!
I like this course
I think this is one of the better kept secrets around. A lot of trees and narrow fairways make this a challenging layout. I played from the whites (6,100+) and my son, who hits it big, played from the blues (6,700+) on this par 71 course. Played in just a shade over 4 hours despite slow play on the first 5 holes because of one group. Eventually it spread out and moved fine.
The course was in excellent condition. It provides a challenge without being unfair. At $10 off the normal $33 price, it was an especially good deal on a Saturday morning.
Hidden Gem.
Took my girlfriend here for the first time. I like how the scorecard has a layout for each hole along with the sign at each hole as well. The fairways were in great condition. I was talking to the pro shop and they said that they had lost a couple greens because of the bad winter, but they are coming along nicely and should be perfect next season. If you are looking for a nice course that won't break the bank look no further.
deep freeze
I love this course, their greens were hit hard by the freeze this year causing the deepest areas of the greens to die and dry. There are only a few greens affected, leaving the rest of the course in more than fair condition for all golfers. Don't let a few mother nature scars ruin a beautiful/challenging yet rewarding course.
Poor
Fairways are all weeds, greens in terrible shape, and they have the balls to raise their prices. This course with cart not worth more than $20
