Slow play rude ownership
My son and I took his 5 and 7 year old along for a round of golf to see what the big guys do. Waited to tee off on every hole. Course was below average in comparison to most of the courses in the area. Staff was welcoming. On the ninth hole, one of the kids rant through the sand trap. My son quickly scolded him, but before we even hit our second putt, the owner who apparently lives in the home of the 9th green yelled out to us that we had some raking to do. My son joked with him thinking he couldn’t be serious. He was and wanted to know our names as we were not wanted back. When we went to rake it after we finished putting mind you, there was no rake at the trap and multiple footprints of adults before us were visible. He doesn’t have to worry, we won’t be back and want others to know he doesn’t care about those on his course, just the couple of bucks he gets from as many people as he can pack on a course. Numerous better courses in the area for a couple dollars more. Don’t waste your time or support someone who doesn’t care about the future of the game or the family nature of it. We will look elsewhere.
First time here and it was fun!
Fun course. Decent course for both new and veteran players. The staff was super friendly. If I find myself back toward Grand Rapids I’ll play again
Good course,
Great course for the money. Has some irrigation issues after the rain in both sand traps and on the fairway but isn't a major issue. Front nine is short, back is longer; either play 18 or play the back!
Nice
Nice smaller course. Tok my daughter ho is a beginner and was able to do some teaching
Good value for $15
Course is in above average shape. Staff started me ( single ) on back for faster play. Front nine is short with several par 4s under 300 yards. Several challenging holes if you don't know the course but overall easy/moderate rating. Great course for 10 handicaps and above.
Like playing this course. Fun course.
Greens were great. Love holes 3,4,5,6,7,8 !!!
Hole 13, great par 3 !!!
Course is in great condition as always. With very friendly service. Delicious home made food before or after the round.
Crestview has been in the same family for over 50 years and they treat you like family. The course is always in great shape as meticulous attention to detail is taken in grooming the course. The fairways are in awesome shape, when I am in them! Greens as well are kept in fine shape with several offering a fair challenge at various slopes and sizes. Not too many traps to deal with. Not uncommon to find great home cooked treats after the round in the clubhouse. Fantastic burgers and hotdogs on fresh bakery buns. Great course for the entire family.
nice but, not worthy of 5 stars
Fairways and greens in great condition but, the scenery leaves something to be desired. Very narrow and can be dangerous. Price to high for what is given.
