Rich Spring Golf Course
Great Course to play, good pace of play and awesome drinks/food at the Club House.
Very fun coarse
Great coarse layout could use some markers showing where next hole is on some holes. Great learning coarse very flat well maintained. Little high on price but great deals at times
Course is nice, beautiful along the lake, but other players ruin the appeal.
This course is a tough one for us to play at, but not because of the management, or the course itself.
Two couples book two tee times (as their tee times are packed SO CLOSE together) so we don't have anyone right behind us (the other couple has a brand-new golfer, they play best ball to keep the rate of play to a minimum). By the 4th hole, there is a group teeing off before we are on the green. They consistently hit right up to us, but won't approach us to play through, instead they tee off, pull up to their ball, and then hide from us, as if we don't see them.
It really puts a damper on a round when you have a beginner who is having fun (and we maintained a VERY respectable rate of play) and there are people who are just ignorant of basic course manners.
I typically wouldn't write a review so salty about a course, but this has happened to us EVERY TIME we play there. There are other local courses that are equal quality/difficulty that we will be supporting in the future.
We gave the course multiple chances, thinking it was a coincidence, but the other golfers on course are just too rude to go again, which is a huge bummer, as the course is otherwise run quite well, and the restaurant (which we will continue to support) is pretty good.
No fivesomes!
Everything was going fine until we hit a fivesome on the back. No bueno! Shouldn’t happen especially on a Sunday afternoon. Where’s the ranger???
First time
it was a nice place to play, A little advanced for the average Joe golfer. Lost a ball on hole 12 due to at least 20 practice balls over the fairway.
Richspring Golf course Minnesota
Course is just coming out of winter season so it’s a little rough (no pun intended). Once we get some rain should come back nicely.
Tough course even on a calm day.
The greens are like putting on glass. To fast for the average golfer.
I have never before hit so many balls into the short grass and lost them.
Do to short dog. Legs, and there are a lot, you had to use your small clubs to tee off on par fives. The greens were like putting on glass. I struggle d to get the speed right.
Course was good but as with a lot of courses around the time of year the leaves made it had to find where the ball was.
Hello and thank you for reviewing the course. We apologize for the delay of play during your round. This is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and to best control pace allowing everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. We will continue to look for ways to improve, and will use your comments as guidance in making the necessary changes. Thank you for playing Rich Spring Golf Club. We hope to see you again soon.
