Fun course
Enjoy the variety of holes. Staff was excellent to deal with.
Only down side for me is the fairway bunker on 10 is like gravel. Only bunker I was in, and I didn't want to hit my shot with all the small stones by the ball
Late October Golf
Course was in excellent condition for late October.
Greens almost perfect.

Oak Marsh
Fun round as usual at Oak. Many challenges on this course so patience with your shots and results is a good thing. Greens were very quick so putting needed good pacing. Always happy to play Oak Marsh. (Maybe a little less fun today when it was heavily clouded with 20-30mph winds and a temp hovering around 50).
convenient location
would play again--liked the GPS carts
Fun track!
Enjoyed playing this course. Greens and fairways were very good. Sand traps need some work. Great layout and some very good holes. Would highly recommend this course.
Nice Course
The golf course is well taken care of. The carts have GPS on them and worked good. We would love to golf the course again. Pretty wide open so really don't lose any golf balls. The price we got on Golfnow was a good price for this course. They have a nice huge driving range and three practice greens. They also have sand traps to practice out of although that day they were filled with water.
Good course, pretty open with lots of marshes
More easy than hard, except for maybe a couple holes. Pretty open. Not many trees, most of which were pretty small. Rough was cut fairly short. Greens were nice aside from a couple with brown spots that were getting watered that day. Lots of marshes and a fair amount of sand traps. According to Oak Marsh GC, there are 31 bunkers and 13 holes with marshes/wetlands.
I liked the course layout. Two holes (#2 and #18) stood out to me as particularly interesting holes. I also liked the non-oval shaping of the greens and slight snake-like curvature of the fairways, which kept each shot interesting.
They also had electric carts with GPS displays that gave the yardage breakdown for every shot, which was nice.
I would, and probably will, play again.
Second time more fun
Easy check-in and carts are right there, Putting green is large and chipping can be done there also. The course requires some length but accepts drives that are not too wayward. Landing areas can be generous at times but your iron play needs to be on if you want to score. The greens were manageable and slick in some places. Overall a nice course. Plays easier the 2nd time around.
very enjoyable
I try to play at different courses as often as possible but would not mind playing this course on a regular basis. The weather wasn't very good and I found this course to be open when all others had closed for the season so I booked a tee time time. I enjoyed the combination of long and short holes and will definitely return next season.
Friendly and fun place to play!
If you're looking for a friendly fun place to play Oak Marsh is your course. They are known for being the last course open in the Fall and first to open in the Spring. Always events to play in. Greens are very good.
Great layout
Great design! There's nothing gimmicky here, just a very playable course that leaves you feeling good about your game. I will definitely try conquering the Marsh again!
Fun course
Really enjoy playing this course its in great shape. Straight players will do well on this course.
Well kept
This was a very fun course to play. Front 9 was a little more challenging than the back. I will definitely play again in the future when I'm in the area.
Worth the drive!
It is a course that is worth the drive. Pretty cheap too for the round.
On vacation
Good challenging course with plenty of great golf holes! The only complaint on the day was that the staff was less than helpful or accommodating. Rushed off the tee box and then told at the turn to hurry up! Not a person on the course and playing within the advertised times. Frustrating.
Oak Marsh
After a 2 and 1/2.hour front and a long wait on 10, I skipped holes 11 and 12. The two foursomes in front of us were extremely slow and I wasn't looking for a 5 plus hour round. Other then that course was in pretty good shape. The golfnow deal was good, but I think what they ask for at full price is too much.
One of my favorites
Course is usually in great shape although after a rain it can be a bit mushy in places. For the most part pretty wide open and easy to play, although there are a few challenging holes. Usually not crowded so very good pace of play. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Slightly overpriced but generally in line with other Twin Cities courses. Very nice practice facilities.
Fair Play
Unfortunately the staff did not mind having seniors driver on the greens. Took pictures and should the staff however they did not do anything. Also no one on the course to assist with the pace of play. I would not recommend anyone play the course.
Rangers?
The day we played the progression of play was ridiculously slow and I never saw a ranger on the course to help progress the pace of the extremely slow foursome in front of us.
Otherwise, I enjoyed plans the holes we could get in.
