Good shape and good service
Greens were in good shape. The leaves are starting to pile up. Service was good as always
Great course for a great value
Wonderful course in amazing shape. If it’s your first time, bring lots of balls. Front nine is narrow and challenging. The back nine is slightly more forgiving but not a push over by any stretch. Enjoyed so much decided to play again the next morning.
Good course for a mid hanhicapper
Besides a crabbby, bossy, rude starter And a grounds crew that wouldn’t stop mowing during our approach on a par three it was a fun course with a few good challenges. I will return.
several holes with water lurking. you need to be able to control your golf ball, great value
Fun Course in Tough Shape
The dry then wet weather has resulted in the fairways being patchy and thin. Often the ball would be resting on mud or very thin grass. We played winter rules and ended up placing many shots due to poor grass. I really like the layout and it is a fun course but the condition of the course made the round less fun.
Done for the Year
Course was in average shape. Driving range was a mess with very little grass to hit from.
Pace of play was very slow for a 2 some and we wound up joining a 4some to maintain pace of play with the 5 group in front of them.
Staff chased us and others off the course and went to settle up at the bar and possibly have another round and a burger but the bartender seemed annoyed with us so we left without more business (several folks sitting at the bar).
We’ve played there a few times previously and this was the second similar experience so we are done here for the year at least.
If you don’t mind a slower pace and don’t plan to visit the bar/ restaurant then maybe the price would be attractive, otherwise I would look at other local courses.
Very Challenging and Excellent Food
Fair condition due to lack of rain. Difficult greens. Pace of play was well managed. Great value with Groupon or Golf Now special. Excellent burgers at the clubhouse.
Nice course
The course was a fantastic layout would love to play again after a good rainfall. Course was a little dry but to be expected after the last couple weeks. Fast greens fun obstacles to avoid!
Great greens
The greens were in top shape. They looked smooth and flush. They were fast but not hard. You could go for the greens on approach shots. They read very true; if it looked like your ball would break, it did.
Bummer
My brothers and I went there for my dads birthday. His first birthday since he passed away. Looking forward to some time on the course. Got there and we sat in the office for a good 10 min before someone showed up. Was explained that they are plugging the front 9 so had to play the back twice. Not a big deal but they could have told us ahead of time. I’m guessing they didn’t decide to plug the front 9 on a whim. Played through 16 holes and was told we needed to skip hole 17 and go to 18. Still had over 30 minutes of daylight left. Drove the cart in and parked it, the guy came out and asked if I would go put it away for the night. I was asked to do his job. Went inside for a bite to eat and was served cold brats and was told they weren’t able to heat them up.
It’s an OK course if you have zero expectations for customer service and don’t mind doing a little extra work so the golf course doesn’t have to. If you do have the slightest expectations I would go elsewhere
Front nine less playable than back
Several holes on front nine have limited landing areas which are blind from tee unless you’ve played it before. Hit to the fairway marker on #7 and found ball had rolled into water. Unfair.
Pace of play was quite slow on second nine. Several groups very loud including one group blasting country music from their cart. Very annoying and distracting.
