Rich Valley Hop
Course was in good shape with very nice greens. Staff was very friendly. With 3-9’s there is plenty of opportunities for golfers of all ages to play. It was fun!
Priced right
Great value for the price. Pace of play was a bit slow this last time, a ranger should be out helping move the slow parties along. It really can take away from being able to enjoy a round of golf when you are stacked together at each tee box with 2 other golfing parties. The back 9 took us almost 3 hours because of some beginners that were two golfing parties in front of us.
Easy on the budget...fun place to play
First of all... let’s be honest. Is this Augusta National? No. Not even close. But is this a great beginner course to play a round with friends or your kids? Absolutely. We found this course a few years ago and keep coming back because of the price and enjoyment we get just being out on the course.
Not much to it
Played here with my 8 year old son and didn’t really find the course had much to offer. Each hole felt the same and none really required any thought. Walk up to the ball and hit it. Repeat as needed.
Great Course
Love this course, its kinda of early in the season so they were taking care of maintenance while we played. But i still had a great time.
The staff and the option to play the Red, White, and Blue
Right off the bat the tee times weren't remotely a thing because of how many people and the option of playing the 3 different 9 holes course layouts called the Red, White, and Blue. We got stuck behind 2 groups of 4 that were under the age of 16, so naturally people caught up to us and it was a traffic jam. I ended up having to walk up to the people behind us to let them know I don't feel like getting hit with a ball today even though they hit into us about 6 different times. The staff was absolutely amazing and so kind and the course layout with the upkeep of the 2 different 9 holes courses themselves were amazing! We had a lot of fun and absolutely would go back again for less than $35 and an employee ensuring pace of play of all children under 18. We almost went back at the turn to demand for our money back, but we decided to let it ride out.
Good beginner Course
Was excited to play here, it was in decent shape. Mostly flat/ small hills, good beginner course. Staff was friendly. Expected a bit more.
Poor staff and zero accommodations
There was no beverage cart lady on a busy hot Sunday for all of our holes. Check in took forever as they didn’t know how to use golfnow.
Fun course
This course is a pretty good confidence builder. Its wide open so bad shots don't ruin your day. I also like the mix of short and ling par 3s. Greens and tee boxes are a little rough but for the price i definitely recommend playing here if you want to put up a good score
Not worth the money.
If your a avid golfer this is not the course for you. Most of the holes are the same just different distances. Ground is very hard. Was not worth $39. We played 8 holes and left.
Value
This my first review of a course . The greens are very good here. The fairways are not the best but very playable. It's a very relaxed family owned course that gives you a great bang for your buck. Three 9s , I prefer the blue and white 9s. On another note, I recently found out that the courses do not get any revenue from golfnow on hot deals. So I've been tipping the help wherever I get a good deal and have a good experience at whatever course I get the deal at. I would encourage all of us at golfnow to give a little back to the employees.
The greens and fairways was great. Wide open hard to get into trouble. I would play this course again
