Fun time, as always!
Shorter course but still a challenge...had a good time.
Short and sweet
Don’t be fooled by the short yardage. The course offers plenty of twists and turns to keep you on your toes! Lots of trees and some tricky water placements. Placement is key on a number of the holes. Really fun!
Fun course
Enjoyed our round. The course is spread out so would recommend taking a cart.
Won't be back anytime soon. No ranger on course 4hr 55 minutes for 18 holes for 2 people. Slowest course in town

Fun day. Very slow pace. No ranger on course. Two foursomes in front of us were extremely slow.
Pace
Usually really enjoy playing but this last time the pace was ridiculous. I golfed by myself and it almost took 4 hours. Waiting at every hole for at least 10 mins to hit. They needed a ranger out there.
Kudos to the Stillwater Oaks!
After such a severe winter that decimated so many of the courses I've played this spring it's a pleasure to play at the Oaks. What a lovely course and the conditions are just about back to perfect. especially the greens. It's a challenging course but not impossible for the average or even novice golfer to play and enjoy. The scenery is outstanding and an added bonus is the wildlife that you see there! The course is well managed and staffed by great employees! I've had the fun of joining their Ladies 18 Hole League. Daytime leagues are hard to find but the Oaks is very welcoming. So many of the similar courses I've played in this area don't offer the value that the Oaks does. They're darn expensive. I'd highly recommend this course!!
Never play again
I don’t understand how somebody can charge full price when the course is in such lousy condition no ranger around and at one point 4 twosomes backed up.

Have loved this course for years
I’ve been playing at Stillwater Oaks (formerly Sawmill) for many years. It is not in the best of shape (lots of winter kill) though the grass that’s there is in good shape as were the greens. The clubhouse seems to have gone thru some improvements but I’d prefer that they spend more $ on the actual course and bring it back to its former glory.

Waste of money
Showed up to the course was informed front 9 was unplayable for the day, staff gave me grief for wanting me call GolfNow to receive a refund. You pay for 18 with a cart I expect to play 18 holes, not 9 repeats. So I decided to play anyways. Took me not 3 times to find a golf car to run, 1st one died on me in middle of parking area. Course was not well maintained. Divots throughout fairways had no been filled in. Greens had massive divot, seems no one feels the need to fix their ballmarks. I quit and left after 9 holes disgusted I wasted money and time on this course!!!!
First off the tee
Arrived early to a empty course. The power was out the night before and they had some problems with the credit card machine. Without hesitation he gave me a key to the cart and asked if I wanted to go early just stop in after the round to play. Very friendly staff and fun yet challenging course.
Horrible course conditions
The fairways were brown everywhere, tee boxes were longer than the fairways and no level spots, greens were pavement. Not enjoyable course
Great course layout
The course has a wonderful layout and is really beautiful, the only thing I would recommend is that they get better greens keeping, and fix the fairways. There are a lot of debits that aren’t repaired on the fairways and on the greens! Maybe they should put sand on the cart for people
