Greens bad course decent shape
If they are putting any money in this place it’s in the north course . Greens still in bad shape . Fairways are mostly grass (south course all weeds) . Clubhouse and hotel is like a time capsule from late 70s . Skeleton crew . Took 35 min to get thru line to get a hot dog and beverage at turn . No beverage service on course . Enjoy your round go somewhere else .
Meh.
My brother in law had a coupon so our rounds were only $29. Regular price $65. It's definitely worth more than the discount but nowhere near the regular price. I'd say $45 would be good, maybe $50 given the location.
Lots of dog legs, some tight fairways in the woods, lots of water and heather as well. It's really tricky and enjoyed it on that basis. Pace of play was awful. We got past three foursomes on the front, but the back was just as slow even with smaller groups. Hard to keep your rhythm when some holes you play right through and others you're waiting for 15 minutes on the tee. Course conditions (fairways, greens, etc) were just ok.
I could see myself playing here again, but not desperate to return either.
Bring your GPS
Played this course on a very windy day, which only made it that much more challenging. Greens were very fair and rough was not bad at all.
The heather is awful, if it goes in it is gone. Course has a lot of water but makes for a great layout.
Course has a lot of doglegs and you need a GPS that gives you distances to hazards and turns in the dog leg to be able to play this course well.
Being able to see a detailed layout of the hole would be extremely helpful.
Length is not nearly as important on this course as accuracy is, irons and fairway woods will be your best friends for this setup.
