No time for lesson
Course was in good condition except sand traps were a mess. Not sure this might be a COVID thing. A single in front of me had an instructor with him and worked on his game and set up every hole not allowing me to play thru. 12 on a Tuesday on a 75 degree day with course busy not a time for a lesson.
Really nice but popular
The course is in excellent condition. Twice as nice as Drumm farm. Very popular course but very crowded. Had to skip 3 holes due to a backup. I would play again.
Blue Springs Country Club Golf Course
The course was in very good shape. Pace was a little slow, but perfect day and a lot of golfers. The course is tight but yet challenging.
Would recommend booking online with the golf course instead of GolfNow to save booking fee.
Never again on a Wednesday!
This Wed (and every Wed am) pace is slow if you happen to get behind a group of players who book their tee times the same as you and I, but believe themselves to be part of a non-existant league that only they belong too. Therefore, you wait while they take their 7-10 stroke to get to the green and there 5-7 puts! And if your lucky enough to make it thru the 1st 9, and they take a break for bathroom breaks refreshments, fix their hair. etc. I being prepared move to to the tee on 10. Set up. Ready to tee off.. and here comes a cart with someone yelling, "Sir! SIR! YOU CAN'T TEE OFF This is a league and we need to stay together. You can't play yet!" And even though the office says there is no league and SLOWER PLAYERS MUST YIELD , the course management does nothing about it. No marshal went out to talk with them. Nothing happened. Your expected to wait while They finish their ritual. AND THEN STAY BEHIND THEM FOR THE LAST 9 HOLES. NEVER AGAIN ON A WEDNESDAY WILL I PLAY THIS COURSE!
Ok for the Price
Course was in decent shape. Late summer round so it had the usual dry patches. Greens were quick. Not many driver holes if you are not consistantly straight. Tight with trees that cause issues. Will play again.
Not bad for $20
Haven’t played here in years and expected the same conditions as last tome. However, I was mistaken. The condition of the course were not great. Overall I was not impressed by this course like I used to be. It isn’t bad to play for $20.
Fathers Day
Very slow as I expected for a holiday Sunday. Great course for beginner , kids and ladies. Green were painfully slow and flat for advanced players.
Mushy fairways
Although the weather was great, the course was still soaked from recent heavy rains....made golf difficult!
Fall is here!
First time to play this course and I really enjoyed the layout! While it had rained the night before and it was cart paths only it still played nicely. Balls not plugged which was a plus. Oh, did I say it was 90 degrees two days ago and 55 today! Wow sure did love these greens. They rolled true! $26 was a bargain of a Hot Deal!
Excellent Staff! Slow Course!
Very good staff. Tee boxes are poor. Fairways are average to excellent depending on the hole. Bunkers are what they are not the worst I’ve seen. The greens are very slow and sponge like. Greens are poor.
WOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS USE TO BE A COUNTRY CLUB CONDITION
THIS USE TO B A VERY NICE COURSE WOOOOOOE WHAT HAPPENED? OH GL THATS WHAT!!!!
Whaaata Dump GL Ruined this Course
EVERY SINCE GREAT LIFE KC MONOPOLIZED ON ALL THE OLD RUN DOWN COURSES THEY ARE EVEN IN WORSE CONDITIONS AND THEY JACK UP THE RATES TRYING TO FORCE YOU TO BUY THEIR MEMBERSHIP!!! BS BS BS!!! WE SHOULD ALL BOYCOTT ALL GL COURSES AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!
Fair price for a decent course
Trees line nearly every hole, fairways are in decent shape. Greens could use some work around the edges but the cost allows for a little forgiveness. If you don’t hit it straight be prepared to play out of other fairways and over trees.
Luv this course
Been a hot summer. Some courses around KC are burned out. This is a great old tree lined course that has been well maintained.
