Open and fast pace
We were the first group out. Course is in good shape for being February. Greens were kept up for good putting conditions.
Tricks and Treats
I know its not even close to Halloween yet, but this course is an awesome bucket of candy with no bad apples in it. The greens are receptive and deceptive, making even the best putters look foolish.. The elevation changes will have you checking your clubs to make sure you didn't accidentally grab the wrong one. The pace of play was excellent. I never had to wait for a thing here. The staff was delightful and engaging and they made us feel like we had been golfing here for years. If you come to the Ozarks for golf and don't play here you have made a horrible mistake. There is another course across street you will hear about but you won't feel more at home than they make you feel at Lake Valley.
Great course for the money
Played this morning, what a beautiful course for the money the only downside was that I was paired up with other people and had to take the same cart. That ended up being ok but it hindered the pace of the group a bit. All in all however this course was phenomenal and can’t wait to come back. Challenging in a lot of different ways for the moderate golfer!
Lake valley
There par fives three par fours and three par threes on the front, nice racetrack
Hidden gem
What a great course for the price. Got a hot deal for 45 dollars and it was worth every penny. The course was well manicured and the greens were awesome. Definitely check it out if you’re near Camdenton.
Cold but fun
Course was in great shape for the winter season. Was a bit chilly but no body was out so quick play was good today.
Nice
We had a great fall day of golf at Lake Valley. Lots of leaves but that is expected this time of year.
Lake Valley G C
It was an overcast misty day. We had the course to ourselves. The pace of play was perfect because of that. I have played here before and the pace was ok then. Everything was in good shape. Not bad for the first week of November.
Would have given all 4 stars but had rained the night before and several of the traps had standing water.Very friendly and accommodating staff. Carts were first rate. I will definately play again.
After rain two days earlier the course was lush. Fairways were full and the ruff was juicy and a perfect height at 2 1/2 inches. the ball always settled into a birds nest. not once did the ball sit up on top of the grass. that is how the ruff should always play. the greens were very fast down hill and faster than you would think going uphill. overall it was an open course. rolling hills made club selection hard a couple times. it was a very nice day of golf.
Great value
Reasonably priced. Course if pretty open compared to the other ozark courses. A good place for us intermediate golfers.
Great experience
Course conditions were good, just a couple areas had some issues but not many. Greens played true and were receptive, all in all a very pleasant round.
Great round
Haven’t played here in about 3 years and course was in great shape and price was fantastic. Will definitely be back shortly.
Great course.
Great course. Fun to play. The 6 par 5s 6 par 4s and the 6 par 3s are neat. Great condition.
