GREAT TRACK...Somewhere in between Bushwood CC and Augusta National
Let me tell you something – there are some clubs in the area that you can go 4+ hours without any interaction with other club members or golfers. That is not the case at this hidden gem of a course.
The staff, the club members and guests are all extremely friendly. New members have no problems fitting in – whether they're looking for league play or a foursome to drink 4 to 8 ice-cold Coors Lights this course/club has options.
The course itself is a fun play for all varieties of golfers. The course's backdrop, which is along the banks of the Mississippi, provides some picturesque views and vistas. Both the front and back nine offer a nice mix of tight and open holes. The surrounding forest provides a nice element of seclusion, away from the hustle and bustle of major roadways and thoroughfares. The par 5's are especially memorable as several play out and over small tributaries into the Mississippi (bring your fishing pole, the club allows fishing on one of the back nine's ponds).
Practice facilities at the course are also convenient and in great condition.
If you're in the area, I highly recommend this course.
Great Course
Course has a lot of character. Impeccable greens and fairways when everything comes in. Sand lacking a little bit but that is its only downfall.
Any handicap golfer would enjoy this course.
