Conditions
I have played many popular PGA courses and courses in the St.Louis area. The conditions of this course was among the top courses. I am sure it may have had something to do with the large amounts of rain that they have been receiving, so I would like to play it again during the more humid months.
Very good and getting better
Haven’t played golf here since last year and things are looking good. Greens are great , and the fairways are a little dry but that can be expected with our drought conditions. Staff was friendly and helpful, pace of play was excellent and the course can be challenging. Hope to play again there soon.
Fun time!
My wife and I played on a Saturday. We had such a good time we played again on Sunday! We took advantage of a “Hot Deal” and played for $21 a piece. We were able to get around the course in 2 hours both times without being pressured. The course is mostly straight, and a good bit is down hill (drove the green on 2). The course was in nice shape. The tee boxes were being rejuvenated but we’re still in good shape. The greens were very wet but I heard that they had been pretty burned up earlier in the summer. We had a great time and will definitely be back to play again and again.
Terrible shape, not worth the price.
First, $34 for nine holes on a nice course might be worth it but had I known the shape this course is in, I wouldn't have paid $10 to play there. Most greens were like shag carpet, slow and bumpy, several bunkers were dried mud, and layout is tight. I won't be back as there are too many nicer courses to play where you get more value for the money.
Disappointed with price for conditions
This was one of the poorest conditions I’ve seen on a golf course in years. Super patchy grass from the tees to the fairways to the greens. The greens when they did have grass were about as smooth as my grandmas shag carpet. bunkers were just packed hard mud/sand. The course is also mega short. Charging way more than this is worth. Staff was very friendly.
Rough conditions of fairways
I played here for the first time using a hot deal and I felt ripped off. The fairways and greens a on most holes were terrible. I’d never pay to play here again unless I’m desperate.
Was great for an after-work round
Played this course after work in high 90 degree weather. Tons of shade this time of the day and felt amazing out. Fairways and greens in great condition! A couple holes are packed into the course and some of the greens are a bit smaller than average, but it was not an issue. Overall, seems to be the best 9-hole course in the area and this will be a new spot for me!
Unadvertised Surcharge
I booked on GolfNow hot deal and it said $16.99 for nine holes with a cart. When we arrived we were told there was a $2 per person surcharge if we took a cart. I think it is deceptive and if I had known the price was really $18.99 I probably would have chosen a different course. It is not the cost as much as the idea that they were not honest in their rate.
