Tall grass, lots of knats and biting flies
Brakes did not work at all on the golf cart. We had to park sideways to keep the cart from rolling forward the whole 18 holes. Lots of bugs everywhere with knats in our face and eyes and biting flies on our legs.
Enjoyable course at a great value
I normally play around the St. Louis area but have been out at Fort Leonard Wood this summer for work. The course has what looks like brand new carts and flags. Still can't believe how cheap it is to play, $15 for 9 holes (and for the younger soldiers it's only $10!). Course was nice overall, greens were smoothed out and well kept. The course is set down in a valley (duh) which makes for really pretty views and some sweet elevated tee shots. The pro shop doesn't have a huge selection but again everything was really well priced. Kudos to the guys that run the course.
Terrible
They charge Soldiers way too much to play, the staff is worried more about playing golf then helping customers, there is no course upkeep. Divot in the greens t boxes full of broken tees. Save your money any of the surrounding golf courses are way better compared to this golf course
It's ok
The holes are challenging, but it's the most expensive golf course in the immediate area you would think it would be cheap for soldiers but it's actually not, also the greens and center fairways are full of divots the upkeep could be better
