CHALLENGING ELEVATION LEVELS FOR CENTRAL MO
PAR 3'S VERY FUN
TOTAL GOLF COURSE IN GREAT SHAPE FOR OCTOBER
Surprised by the course conditions in dry season
The course fairwawys and greens were in great shape despite a very dry summer. It is a difficult course due the the layout and the fairways can be tricky to put the ball in the best postion for your next shot. The greens were quick and well cared for. The tee boxes are suitable for all levels of players.
Recent repairs and upgrades made the experience a very nice one. I will play this course more often.
Not a good day
I have heard that it was a great coarse but after playing it I was not impressed not much help around no water or cups on the coarse anywhere and as dry as it was I had to walk though water in several places . Had to push golf cart to get it going a time or two . The tee boxes where littered with tees like they haven’t been picked up for a week or more .
Great links style course
Had a lot of fun playing the course, even though it was a bit warm. The only problem was a group of 4 who were ruining the pace of play (talking on their phones in the fairway, hitting 10 balls, etc) who wouldn't let us play through (no one in front) and flipped us the bird when we skipped them. Other than that very friendly staff and a fun course, will definitely go back.
Decent Course
I've been to a few courses in the Jeff City/Columbia area. I have heard good things about this course, but was disappointed. Tee boxes weren't in the best shape, fairways weren't great condition, cart paths need to be repaved, and course was ok. Course was challenging and fun. Lot of people were hitting into other fairways, and almost got hit.
Eagle Knoll
As expected the course was in great shape. Saw some turkeys on the course today, no really wild turkeys!
Tough course
Not a course to play if you aren’t hitting the ball straight. Beautiful though with a lot of challenging holes. Greens are in fantastic condition.
Very interesting and nice course
Interesting layout. Don’t pull driver unless you are very accurate. Course in great shape and staff was very excellent!
Very Hilly
Fairways were in ok shape, greens were just sanded so kind of bumpy.
Pace of play was limited due to a 5some in front of us.
Over crowded
When I went to book a tee time on GolfNow it showed most of the day wide open. When I arrived at the course it was an entirely different story. By hole 2 I was already waiting for groups in front and by hole 9 we were stacked up 8 groups deep. I ended joining a 2 some to try and help with pace, but by the time we finished our round of 18 took 5 hours. The course was a good challenge, but not a single sole took care of their divots on the green. I probably fixed over 50 divots over the course just so I could line up a put. There is great potential for this course, but I don’t see myself coming back anytime soon or at all for that matter.
Things seen to be slipping
The course itself was in pretty good shape and the layout is one of favorites. On the downside, the cart paths are a crash and lawsuit just waiting to happen. There was also no water in the coolers and this was before 2pm.
