Played around 2PM. Coarse was not very crowded which made for an enjoyable pace of play. By far the most relaxing round of the year. Greens rolled true.
They have to sets of 18, clubhouse is on the west. After unloading our clubs and carrying them to the clubhouse we were informed we had to drive back to the other course to get our carts. Ok, however we get back there unload our clubs again and walk over to the cart area they have no carts. After waiting a few minutes we venture off to find help only finding the beverage shack on the turn to which he says we only have so many carts what do we want him to do. 40 minutes later we finally get a cart when another golfer was done with their round. Everything was fine until 13 when somehow we got a flat. Call the clubhouse and they say they will send someone out. 40 more minutes and 2 more calls later, they send a kid with an air pump. Tire doesn't hold air and kid says that's what they told him to do, they have no more carts. Finished the round on 3 tires and a rim and they couldn't have cared less. Awful experience and will not be back.
Greatest course for the money
Perfect greens with out ball marks on them. Great staff and the fairways were well kept. watch out on the third hole smells bad due to the wastewater.
My buddy from Toledo, OH meets me there, it's about halfway for both of us, I'm in MI. We have enjoyed the course and always have a good time.
The course is known for its huge greens. If you typically play the back tees you should know that there is a big difference in tee distance on most holes. I recommend the whites unless you can hit it big. All in all it's a decent track decent conditions
East course wss in great shape. Greens were running a little slow, but we played first thing in morning. Bunkers needed some attention, but with a fair amount of rain the previous evening it was expected. The grounds crew was beginning to till them when we reached 15. Fun course with "huge" greens. Get out and play it...
Course was in really good shape. sneakishly hard. lots of hazards. Really plush greens and fairways. For sure will play again
This is an awesome course and I'm a single digit handicap i shot a 75 from the Back tees and it's 6700 yards and the greens are very big. If you think you hit a close approach think again you will be a good 15 to 30 feet away from the flag.
The east course is better than the west course. The greens are very large, and very green. They are slower than many courses. The course needs rain real bad. Fairways are ok, but not plush. The several ponds come into play, but they smell terrible. The clubhouse employees, and starter very friendly and helpful. My wife and I teed off at 0700, and were done with 18 at 0945. Overall a nice course.
We appreciate your feedback. We are happy you recognized the quality of our staff! We agree--Michigan is in need of some rain! We hope to see you out again soon!

The course was in great condition. We've had very little rain in the past few weeks but the course was very green & plush
Thank you for the wonderful 5-Star review! We appreciate you recognizing the great conditions, considering how little rain we've been having.
We hope to see you out again this summer!

The course was challenging to me
I appreciate the friendly staff and the course its self. Look forward to playing it again !!

Great Value. Maintenance man thought the price we paid should have only been for 9
Raisin River East
Nice old course that is kept in very good shape!
Course in good shape. Love the huge greens. As a twosome got around in 4hrs on a holiday weekend. From the whites fair. From the tips can be very challenging.
Just enough trouble on bad shots, most were still able to be hit again.
A Day at Raisin River
The course was in good shape, fairly quiet for a Saturday morning. Greens were in good shape, we played the east course. There were some very interesting pin placements on Saturday, some in back right or left areas of the greens, hiding behind bunkers. The some greens the pins were in the front, a very nice challenge for controlling the shots. But not unfair by any means.
was shocked to find this great course in Monroe
had a good round & came back one week later to play the west side of course. east side is more challenging
but each side west, east was excellent.
Raisin river -east
First time at raisin river. Very impressive. Great condition. Teed off by 7am no wait at all. Challenging length course even from the second tees at 6200yds. The back tees are close to 7000yds. As good or better than alot of other courses to choose from. I'll go back no doubt.
Not too much trouble. Pretty easy course. Huge greens.
Haven't played the east course in a long time, it was in great shape. It's a good idea to try to hit 'em as close to the pin as possible as the greens are huge!!! Course was in great shape though!
