Nice course for the money.
nice course, greens were in good shape considering the heat we recently had. Walkers really slowed us down starting on hole 8 which messed with the pace of play through 18. None the less a fun course with a good layout.
Great course!
In a word, fantastic. A real bargain. Country setting, 20 minutes from the city...
Too much clover
The course was overgrown with clover and the grass had not been cut in several days
Nice staff, poor cart paths, rest room needs attention.
I became a member here after Cardinal Hill closed. The staff are very nice but this course is in the middle of nowhere, club house is still a trailer. Very windy, cart paths are terrible, they are putting more sand in the bunkers, some of the tee boxes still need work. Restrooms needs attention! I have been told to use the calendar on their web site to find out when the course has a event, not updated timely, need to know the code to tell what is going on! Golf carts parked but trash not taken out, have to ask to have carts wiped when they are wet. Ok course to play once in a while but would not recommend a membership.Have not played other Great Life Courses. It is all in the details!
Work in progress!
Played here during visit to my son, who lives in Independence. Course is part of the Great Life group. Windy day, gusts to 40mph. Enjoyable layout, fairways still in winter mode, but playable. Greens had just been aerated, but was advised of this before play. Staff friendly. They are in the process of clearing out a lot brush and reworking sand traps. Liked the layout, and plan on playing again on my next visit.
Nice layout, Good value
It was our first time playing the course. The greens has just been punched so it is impossible to comment on them but the course was in good shape for Spring golf and the fees were reasonable. The semi-rural location was very quiet and relaxing.
Could be a five star course
Tee boxes are in bad shape. They need water and a good reseeding. Fairways are in good shape. The greens are ok but could use some work.
I would play there again. I enjoyed all sand traps and water it made for a challenging round for me
the course is fun.
first time on this course, first time this year, and 80 in feb. GREAT!!
Good course, especially for the money!
Thank you for participating in Golfnow and having such great deals on golf! This is a fun course to play and learn more about my clubs and ability! It is a great deal for the investment though holes further spread apart and more fairway maintenance in the fall (lost balls under leaves in fairway) would be helpful. Thank you for offering such a great course!! Will be back again!
Love the layout, pace and staff
I was pleased to see the investments being made in zoysia sod on tee boxes and the work on the greens. Great people and a very fun layout. I look forward to my visits to Liberty Hills.
A value for the money
The golf course is setup pretty well. The cart paths are in terrible shape. Most of them are torn up and hard to drive on. The fairways were in pretty good condition. Some of the greens were patchy, but there were grounds keepers out working them. Overall Liberty Hills is an OK course for someone who want to practice their game. Fairways are straight and easy to manage.
Still a very poorly maintained course
Even though this is one of the lowest priced courses in the area, the condition of the course makes it a poor value.
Basses,
We are sorry to hear that you do not like the course and were not pleased with its conditions! We apologize but hope that you will give us another shot to exceed your expectations of us!
Best Wishes,

Good and Fun
I played this course for the first time and this date. Very hot day. Thank goodness, cold water was available every 3 holes or so. Greens a little patchy because of heat and plenty of rain so far this year. Enjoyed the 18 holes. Plenty of trees, so had shade if I needed. Will play again.
DonnLH,
