Windmill Ridge Golf Course

Arrived at the course, high school tournament just started. Lady said we could play, no one said you couldn't. She should have started us on back nine. Golf now should not have these courses on their web page if a tournament is going on. Ridiculous.

A fun layout, the course is being improved and will be nice when the grass starts growing.

Except for a couple holes with some ground under repair, it's a pleasure to play. Very friendly staff.

Drove an hour to check out this course since we had never played it before. Cant beat $14 for 18 holes with a cart. Played on a Thursday afternoon, was not busy at all. We never had to wait on any holes. some of the course had some construction, where there should be bunkers possibly ? Wasnt a big deal tho. The front 9 was nothing exciting, but we really enjoyed the newer back 9 which had some rolling hills and some fun holes. The guy in the clubhouse when we arrived was on phone for awhile and made us wait, my only complaint. The other lady working was very friendly tho when we stopped at the turn for a snack. All and all would make the drive again, especially for the price.

You really can't go wrong playing here. The course is in excellent condition and fun but challenging.

Windmill Ridge is an excellent course and is in excellent shape! The have the fairways and green in tip top form! Look for their Hot Deals as that is the best time to play in the fall!

Playing Windmill for around $10 with cart is a steal. The new (back) nine is really fun and a bit more challenging than the old nine. All holes were well maintained and the pace of play was awesome. Would play there a lot if it were closer for me.

Windmill Ridge is being aeriated and greens are fast and bumpy; however, it is an outstanding course. The superintendent is making this course the best in the area. It is fun to play and challenging. I like to play this course.

What else could you ask for. A great course, lush fairways, penalizing rough, all well maintained, true rolling green, various length tee boxes. My physically challenged partner and I enjoyed the entire afternoon in beautiful surroundings enjoying great interaction with course staff and management. They have a very nice putting green but wish they had a driving range on sight. I look forward to my next outing at this always enjoyable facility.

Staff and ground crew do a great job on course conditions. Fairways are in good condition. Greens are in excellent condition.
Beautiful course layout. Sandtraps need work

Our foursome tried this course for the first time, having seen nice reviews on Golfnow. We booked a hot deal for $14 plus a small $3 fee, and thought we would give it a try. We arrived at course about 15 minutes before our tee time, and the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful toward us since it was our first time there. The course is manicured very well, fairways excellent, and the greens were very receptive to an iron shot. The roll of the ball on the greens was incredible. Not once did we see a hop from any putted ball. Will definately golf there again. On a minus note, could use more water coolers on the course and another bathroom.
