Longer course with fair rough and nice greens. Keep it in the fairway to score.
Immensely enjoyable course
I booked 9 holes on GolfNow. Extremely kind and helpful clubhouse staff. The course was in great condition, especially considering how much it's rained recently. There were a couple soggy spots, but easily avoidable. The front 9 of 'The Rock' course was pretty wide open. Well-maintained fairways and greens. A few bunkers here and there, but not a lot of trees. Lots of fairway throughout. I enjoyed my 9 holes so much that I returned to the clubhouse and asked to play the back 9. They were graciously accommodating. After settling up, I set about the back 9, which was also great. Holes 10 and 11 are back-and-forth over a small lake. Otherwise, lots of well-maintained fairways. They've done some recent pothole patching on the cart paths, and could stand to do a bit more, but that's the only thing I can think of to nitpick here. I paid a very reasonable price to play a course I enjoyed immensely. Can't wait to return.
Marginal course at best
The course needs a lot of work, cart paths need to be replaced. greens and fairways mowed. club house antiquated. The location is remote

Holes Everywhere in Ancient Cart Paths all Gravel Carts Old with Old Batteries We Stranded 3 Times! Old Seniors Setting around Blowing Cigarette Smoke around the Ash Tray 2 Feet from Check in Counter Plus Counter Jockey Smoking a Pipe! Great! CLUBHOUSE REEKS OF STENCH FROM SMOKE!!! Ill Give up Golf before going here again! We have Children and They had to see these Condition! This is Not Right! Owners should Clean up deplorable Conditions!

What has happened with this Course? Used to be Nice and Now No Mowing Old Junk Carts that has weak Old Batteries! Changed Out Carts 3 Times and Old Attendees Smarted Off to Us also! Great Place to get Drunk and Hack at it Though! Come On Those Ancient Blue Toilets Aint been Cleaned in A Long Long Time Ago! YODA WOULDNT TAKE A DUMP HERE!
Terrible Condition Also Blotches All Over The Greens
First Off The Friendly (NOT) Check in Dork Upset Cause He has to Work the Weekend! Now He’s Upset With Me Because I got a Cheap Golf Tee Time on Golf Now and Would Not Believe Me and MADE ME GO BACK OUT TO MY CAR CLEAR ACROSS THE PARKING LOT AND GET MY PHONE TO PROVE I HAD A CONFIRMATION NUMBER A REAL POS!!! Also Tells Me the (BOSS) is Quitting GN Because of Cheap Rates!!! This course is a Dump and $10.00 is Wasaaaaaay to Much!

Fast playing-great course!!
I quit playing golf for many years and this is the first course that I first tried after practicing for a few weeks. It's a moderate course with ample fairways but it gets windy sometimes. Friendly staff and affordable prices to play, makes this course a must play for the KC south-east golf community.
Long Way from KC
It rained in the morning, and the course was not set up to handle it. Every ball that landed on the greens would plug. Many of the greens were partially dead (understandable with how dry it has been this year and the price point of this course). Would note that this is ~45 mins from the plaza in KC, despite being listed as 21 miles away. Would not play it again.
Rough Too Long
The rough was so long we lost several balls. Combined with lots of clover it was impossible to find a ball. Fairways are a long way from the women’s tee. Course should consider senior women’s tees.
AL was awesome.
I was having a bad day only wanted to get in nine holes having to work the holiday weekend. I set tee time and was cutting it close, took wrong route. I was close to another course offered on hot deal of the day. The course was packed. I called back AL answered I told him what had happened he said no problem I will still honor the tee time. AL made my day. I was able to play a stress free round. Thank you Al
