Too much Rain!!!
2" Rain - Cart Path only.
Greens were slow, but held long iron shots.
Fun course
Challenging but fair. Will play again.
A Boost for your attitude.
The Rock is just hard enough to be worth playing, and easy enough to keep your positive attitude going. Course is well maintained and greens are in better shape than they've been for a long time.
The Quarry - OK course
Course was OK - conditions OK - wide open fairways, sand traps were like dirt, best part is some really challenging carries over water. Decent course, not very crowded and a good value for Golf Now rates. Pace of play was very good.
Nice course
Great value...nice course...quick 4 hour round of golf.
the rock
started out windy and chilly and ended with the wind dieing down and warming up.. course has been upgraded and plays well.
The Rock
The Rock is always in good shape and the staff is very friendly. Amenities need updating a bit.
The Rock
When Hoots is not available, the Rock is a decent golf course except for the 10th hole.
Good value
Wide open, good for the not so straight hitter
the rock
Great condition for January. Greens were spectacular.
Golf on the farmers field
I lost two balls in The fairways or whatever you call the area where the grass is shorter and by shorter I mean 4-6 inches of grass instead of 6-8 inches as the rough weeds I mean grass was cut. Clearly this course could use some groundskeepers, I expect long grass on weekdays but not on weekends it clearly has not been mowed for weeks. Weeks worth of leaves littered the course in fairways, on greens and the rough. The greens were easily the slowest I have ever encountered, worse than shag carpet. They were also springy and spongy often times seeing pitch shots bounce upwards of 5 to 6 feet high, clearly there was zero sand added to them. The cart paths are about 10 years past due for replacing or repairs. The carts are extremely old and apparently several of them will not hold a good enough charge to make an entire round. The course is also very long having several par fours unreachable from the white tees in two shots unless you have 250 yard plus drives and while a lot of people claim they do I can assure you 200-215 is more thier average and they won't have a chance at par on a 450 yard par 4.
If this is the shape you wish the public to see your course in that is fine but you should charge green fees of 10-20$ instead of 30-40$. There are plenty of way nicer courses for less money with less of a drive to waste my time trying this one again.
Playin the Rock
Decent course, decent shape. Not crowded. A little cool, but had fun.
Fun
Great day with the son. Very well worth the price.
Love the openess
Great for course layout that challenges both beginners and those with more skill at an affordable cost.
We look forward to playing each of the three courses many times.
Quality with Great Rates
The course played user friendly with some challenging water holes! Great course for working on your game or more of a casual outing!
The staff was wonderful and nice inventory in the clubhouse!!!
Nice Facility, Great Staff!
First time playing the Quarry course. Has two back-to-back par 5 holes and ends with back-to-back par 3's.
Some damage to the greens from fungus and dry fairways and rough due to lack of rain. I am sure the place looks great under normal conditions.
Fast pace, friendly staff, good food. The Marshall checked in with us several times during the round and as we were packing up to leave to make sure everything was satisfactory. I sincerely appreciate good service and will definitely be back to play again.
the rock
Course was fantastic. The man who checked us in was very rude. Cursing golf now and not happy we came. Still had a great time though. Thanks, Bob.
Great Round
Awesome course, and staff. Pace of play is good. Play there as much as I can.
Great course for the $$$
It's a great course for the $$$. My son and I played it and the course was in pretty good shape considering all the rain that we've had this year. That combined with a friendly staff and easy on makes this course worth the $$$.
Country Creek Rock
Course was in great condition, greens were smooth. Great course to play. It has length, but not a lot of trouble. Great place to work on your game if you've been struggling!
