Worth the drive
Course was in good shape greens rolled fair. Pace of play was great 4 hours on a Saturday for our 4some. Fairways were in great shape.!
People do need to remember to fix your ball mark on the greens.
A hot day but we had an excellent time. Chad and his crew have the course in excellent shape for this time of year’!! We will definitely be back soon.
The course was in great condition considering the dry conditions recently. Pace of play was excellent with the 100 degree heat. Will definitely be back!!!
Excellent greens on a wide open course
They must spend all their time and energy on the greens because they were in excellent shape during this hot summer. Plus seems like people actually repair their marks and that makes a big difference.
Most of the fairways are wide and in good shape. The rough was cut short and easy to play out of. Seemed like all the par 3 greens were tiny and difficult to hit. A few other greens were very large and receptive to approach shots. However, a number of tee boxes were not level which was irritating.
Lots of elevation changes with a number of blind landing zones so that slows down play. In addition, a number of dogleg holes, especially on 9 and 18, and that created backups. Plus, they should have paired up twosomes. They didn’t and that led to a lot of waiting and a slow round.
Great Course. Played Terrible
First time playing Ste Gen Golf Course and man it was a gorgeous Course. Played with a buddy who is a scratch golfer(he shot Par 72) I was more likely around 100. We got to the turn played the 10th hole and weather from out of nowhere came and delayed golfing 11-18 for about 25 minutes. Then the course got even better on the back 9. Challenging but so fun to play, and the wet greens slowed down the putts which helps me out a lot. I will play this course again very soon.
The course has an excellent staff
The hot deal was a good value but one of our golfers injured his back and couldn't play. Golf now would not refund his money.
The people are great and the course is getting better every time I play it.
Finally a dry day!
It’s been a tough wet year. This was first time NOT cart path only. Greens were very fast, but consistent.
Course workers doing a great job, can’t wait to play again in dry consistent weather.
