Hidden gem
The location is out of the way but this is absolutely not a deal breaker. In fact it's probably better because of this. Great conditions with some challenging holes. Good scenery and best of all : no houses on the course. The cart path could use some repairs and I'd bring a rangefinder or gps as some of the tee boxes have conflicting yardages from the scorecard. Overall great course especially for the $$. Greens were in excellent shape - so happy to find a public course where people are diligent about fixing ball marks - and the fairways were doing better than I'd expected with recently soggy weather.
Things are looking greener!
Well it’s good or bad but the grass around the greens will soon be a real challenge the fairways are still giving up extra bonus yardage the bunkers were raked and ready greens were rolling nice not too slow and not super fast and I like wild life but the geese are chewing holes in a few of the greens that is not good they have put down some sod on number 13 along the cart path it really looks nice so keep doing what your doing love it.
Eagle Springs
Course was in fair condition for early spring. Tee boxes were acceptable except for the Sr/ladies tees which were poor. This is the norm for ES. Fairways were fair with patchy grass. Greens were good
Cart path is extremely cracked with numerous pot holes. In bad need of repair.
Starting to green up
Soon it will be thick and tuff around the greens the fairway’s are coming along so still playing golf
Chilly Fay
Not crowded at all was cold and windy so I loved it
Leap Year
The course is in need of a lot of work. To be fair it's was early in the year, end of February. The T boxes were is very poor condition, the fairways and rough was average and the greens were still dormant.
Eagle is what it is
And what it is is a really good deal for the money.
Fall golf
It was a beautiful day to be out before this nasty cold weather hits just keep hitting your ball till you get on the green some good some bad and some really ugly shots and it was surprisingly not too crowded I guess the threat of rain kept everybody at home and yes the leaves are falling well that is fall golf.
Nice weather
The dry conditions are taking their toll here and there the fairways are hard so if you hit a shot offline well it really goes a lot further but the greens are fine and the grass around the greens is still a challenge but thinning out a bit bunkers are ready for an errant shot hard to get a tee in the ground but that’s Mother Nature everyone there is so nice even the other players on the course it was nice to be out
Very good value + good condition
This is a fun place to get out and play. It's not going to bang you over the head with difficulty but it has some good shot values. Hilly, so there are some blind shots and one would do well to check out whether it is open ahead before fire a shot into a blind area. Considering the amount of play they get, they do a very good job of condtioning. Fairways were a bit shaggy yesterday but with the changeable STL weather I don't hold that against them.
Great Course in Great Condition
First time playing this course and it was in great shape, especially the tee boxes and greens! Some of the nicest I've seen on a public course. Fairways were good, too. Layout and course design was interesting, some challenging holes in a good way. Clubhouse is very much showing its age, especially the bathrooms, they need work. Overall a great experience, will definitely play here again.
Cart path only!
Well the rain was needed it softened up the fairways and filled up the bunkers but the course was still in very playable condition had a good round.
