Maintenance crew was knowledgeable and pleasant, but person working at front desk was not.
Fairways in bad shape- may be too early in season
Fairways were in very bad shape. Large majority had no grass. Too early in season?

Course Conditions
I played this course last year and it was in pretty good conditions. I was embarrassed by the condition when I showed up yesterday. There has been little to no maintenance performed since last year. The grass in the fairway had more weeds than a person can imagine. The Tee box had grass as high as 4 inches and they were charging $45. It was worth approximately $10-15.

Grass is greener on the other side!
First time I played here and the course even for April was in rough shape. I will not return here again. I have seen alot of kids walk this course from local high schools and now I know why. This is as bad as Riverside in Fenton.

Good course, nice greens, poor fairways
Good course for a good value. Perfect for someone interested in playing 18 and paying around $40. Not worth much more than that. Very friendly staff, cheap beers.

Too much for the money
This course is extremely overprice, and the condition right now is in very bad shape so the price should match.

A no frills course course definitely not worth the price of $32/18. Greens, however were in good condition.

this course was a good course for the money
course was challenging, if you got out of the fairways.
A lot of water and greens were small. Fairways were tight, but because the course is so free of trees it seemed wide open. Little hard to tell what direction the hole was especially in the middle fairways. Little early in season so grass needs to grow, a lot of bare spots.

Try the club sandwich!
The course was good and the rates were fair but the smoked turkey and ham sandwich is the best kept secret in St. Louis!!
It is what it is...
I have played this course just shy of a million times and it will always be exactly what it is, an average course. If it can be played for the right price, then the course has value. Over the last year they have put some money into the course and the club house, but the course for so long had been let go, that these improvements have just brought it back to average. I keep using the word average, and I know everyone goes negative with that word, but that is not what is meant. This course is right in front of you, with a couple of tricked out holes, and the greens are usually in rather good shape. Nothing special, but nothing that is so atrocious that you can't get past it. Average. Again, I would never pay full price to play this course, but at a good rate, it is worth the time to go and chase it around.

No sand, water is out of play, and tiny tiny greens.

pleasant and serene course
I think this is the best course for the money in Saint Louis. It was easy to use GolfNow. I normally play with a group and pay regular price and still will. This is a hidden gem of a course.
Enjoyed this course
I enjoyed playing this course and will play it again. The rough was a lot thicker than most course, not sure if that is by design or if it was due for a cut. It's a fairly easy course with some challenging holes, couple PAR 3's over water. I enjoyed myself!
Great value / excellent south county location
Nice little course. Good mixture of par 3s 4s and 5s. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Very friendly and laid back staff. Driving range connected to the course (separate parking lot) has everything you need to prep before a round. Course not too far from highway 270.

Great course for the money I was the only one out there except for the grounds crew lol.
Nice little course
Never been there before and did the lunch and golf special. Food was good and course was in good shape. Not a tour level course by any means but a very nice course for beginners to intermediate golfers. Would definitely go back.
Nice Greens
I played at a discount booked thru GolfNow. Otherwise, I would have ranked Value For The Money lower. Course is not worth $45. They should offer walking rates. This is a good course to walk...flat...next t-box close to green. Fairways are OK. Some down trees from storms cluttering up in places. If I could walk for a standard rate of $30 on weekends I would golf here more often.

Great Staff and course conditions!
Course looks easy but plays much tougher then it looks. Greens are spoungy like. Couldn't figure out if they were slow or a little fast. Blue tee boxes could be worked on a little especially hole number 1... Took me a good minute to find a spot to fit my tee in (hard as a rock). Fairways and greens where in great conditions. Best food I have ever eaten at a golf course. Girl in clubhouse service food and beer was very sweet and polite. Overall great course and personnel.
