Emerald Greens Golf Course

Weather was great. all of the fairways and greens were in excellent shape. gets a little busy on the weekends,but still worth the trip.

This place is a must if you have never been before, helpful and friendly staff. Course was a lot nicer than I was expecting, challenging but not impossible just needed to strategize your setup.

This is a fun course to play where you can make a good score if you are playing well. The course has moderate elevation changes, sensible dog legs, and challenging slope and contour around the greens.

Very scenic and very quiet.

A little out of the way, but well worth the drive.

Slow pAce, marshal did not try to speed up group ahead even though we waited on every hole. No beverage cart on a Friday. Arrived 30 min before tee time, staff told me to "hurry up" they were getting me out early. Greens were extremely slow,like putting on shag carpet with velcro on top. Nice fairways, but there are better olaces to spend your golf dollars.

The course was in excellent shape and very challenging.

Not the worst course or the best course I've played in the local area. I could only give it a C. The greens were like putting on shag carpet--very, very slow. The course was short and there was no WOW factor on any of the holes with the exception of 18--that is a fun hole. Why is there no driving range? There is plenty of room. A good round is always preceded by a good warm-up. My yes recommendation is qualified--if you can play another course than do.

Very scenic. Each hole on the front nine is secluded. The back includes a great vista of the Mississippi River valley and lakes come into play on many shots of the final holes, providing a fantastic backdrop for a round of golf. The course also has great shot values. The fairways are wide enough for any golfer and the rough is not too high. But it requires targeted shots to score well. Very enjoyable round.

My son and I played some other courses in the area, and this was by far the best. The course was well kept and had challenging holes. The pro shop guy walked us through each hole before we teed off, letting us know what to avoid. It was very helpful.

Course was great. Need cart girl/boy to travel during day. Was really hot and no water holes.

There are some interesting holes on the course. Fairways and greens were in good shape. A couple negatives, is no range to warm up before your round and no water jugs on the course as it was a hot day. Also play was a little slow as course posting says it should take 4 hours to play a round and it took us 4 1/2 hours

This was a very beautiful course with a challenging layout. Lots of water, lots of dog legs. The greens were a little slow which is the only negative thing I can think of to put down. Everything else was wonderful. I'll be back soon.

Tee to green course was excellent, greens are very slow and very soft. They are spongy and putts bounce a lot. I play amateur tournaments around the state and course is in tournament condition except for the greens. I am a pipefitter and get a very good discount here but don't play often because of the greens.

Ridiculous hole placement on the greens! Please put a golfer on staff to set up tee boxes and pin placement. The course was in great shape and I always enjoy playing there. Just the pin placement this week was crazy.

Course was in great shape. Good pace of play. About 4.5 hours. Greens were slow. Only complaint otherwise great.

The course was is great condition. The greens looked great but rolled slow. Over all a good time.

Front 9 is tight & can be challenging for not playing there is years.

Fairways need to fill in. Greens are SLOW. Some tee boxes need work.

It was cart path only because of all the rain the past few days. Some of the areas were a little soggy. But, other than that the course was in good condition and the round was very enjoyable.

I love this course. The back nine is more challenging. The greens were very slow. The only disappointing issue was the attitude of the staff. They could use a little friendliness.

I love this place. They have some of the coolest holes ive played. Doglegs, lay up over water, island greens, etc. The only downside to this course is that its basically a swamp. The bugs r awful and the course is almost unplayable in the evening.
