Great Panhandle Golf
I plaid this course with a steady 15 mile an hour wind out of the North North East. That kind of wind takes this course from a nice course to a tough son of a gun.
5-6-8 require forced carries that get really tricky on a windy day. Stay right on #9.
This area is more of a high dessert environment and the area this summer is in a tremendous drought, but the course is in outstanding shape. Only one green was in less than excellent shape. The fairways were not as rock hard as some that I've played in the eastern part of the state.
The scenery alone is worth playing this course.

Fast greens and course is in great shape. Lots of fun!
A real hidden gem
My wife and our friends drove up not expecting too much. What we found impressed all of us. The greens are in great shape and the fairways are lush. Compared to where we all have been playing the fairways aren't that tight but the course is in excellent shape. It's challenging with some of the greens not visible from the tee box but it's not horribly long. All of us were impressed and will be coming back to play here again.
