Worth checking out
I played this course on a Wednesday morning. It was only 19 for a large bucket of balls and 18 w cart using my big red golf tour book.
The course is fairly short, but there are no par 5's. The longer holes require good drives to score. Lots of trees, so keeping it straight is important. # 1 is a dog leg left. You will need 220 off the tee and stay to the right side of the fairway as the green is guarded by a creek and a large tree. #7 offers two tees, one of which is a island tee -- so kind of fun.
The fairways were in excellent shape and there were no bad spots on the greens. The greens had been recently sanded, and the quality of the sand was poor, as I was regularly having to pick up little pebbles out of my putting line. The greens are pretty small and several slope back to front, so there are chipping and putting challenges.
It is a tight little course, so pay attention as balls coming in from adjoining fairways was not uncommon.
I did not used the club house, but it is fairly new an looked like it would be a great place for a beer and a burger
It was worth playing and I would do it again.
