The grasses on holes 1-3 were terrible, everything basically felt like the rough- even on the green. The second half of the course was in better shape though. Seemed like more par 3 and par 5's and then the normal par 4's.
Buffalo Ridge
Amazing revival for this coarse is well underway, don’t hesitate to book a round. This coarse will be one of the best in town in just a few season.
Great experience!
This course has come me a long way in a short amount of time! We will be returning and soon !!!
Dandelion
The website is definitely showing old pictures. I have not been on a course that is in worse shape. They have a very nice layout, but even when you hit a good ball, it is a hunt to find the golf ball as there are an enormous amount of dandelions and clover. Then you get to the greens and it is like Plinko. It goes from a little grass to no grass all over the place. There was not a single green that was in good shape. It is a shame as it is a nice layout. Hoping it is rectified soon for their membership.
Avoid this wreck
Every single green on the course is dead. The fairways are nicely mowed and the few sand traps are drug, but this course is a mess. And they still charge full price.

Nine holes
I played. this on a Friday with the wind blowing about 35 out of the NW. Buffalo is a straight forward flat track that depends on wind to protect it. Very basic. A couple of sand traps. Most holes are separated by pine trees. The day I played, there were a number of locals looking for an inexpensive game. It was well mowed, but most of the greens had a lot of brown around the edges. There are 2 18 hole courses in town, so this course is set up for beginners and guys looking for a bargin. They open at 8 and not a minute before.
