Front 9 great condition for this time of the year.
Fall Golf
Course was in beautiful shape considering it’s late November. Best part is you get a long run out if you hit the fairway. Temperature was in the mid 50’s and only 4 of us were on the course.
There is no restaurant or cart person for drinks. The ground was so hard at the tee boxes you needed a hammer to put it in the ground. The greens were hit and miss, some the greens were super slow and others were like concrete.
Definitely worth the stop!
Driving from Utah to Indiana and was looking to over nite and maybe play 9 holes since we had our clubs with us Not much in the way of hotels around, but this course is truly a hidden gem! Staff were friendly, course was in excellent shape, it was like a golf oasis out in the middle of nowhere. We loved the layout….every hole was different. The course wasn’t over challenging, but you need to keep it in play, hit your approaches and make your putts. The locals play a little slow, but we’re very gracious in letting us play through. Definitely worth checking out if in the area.
Big time course in the Panhandle
Wow. I have had the opportunity to golf all over the state and the only reason that this isn't recognized as one of the top courses in our state is because it is way the heck out here. This is a great course. plenty of challenges, the best greens I have played in the last three years. Lightening fast, tough to read, but very fair.
More that most courses, be in the fairway and decide where you want to play your tee shot.
On #2. Hit a fairway wood and pitch to the green .
On top of it all, it is a beautiful course.
Great great course.
