Tuesday Morning Play
We really enjoyed this course. There were so rough spots but considering the year's weather, it was understandable. Greens were in great condition. I will definitely play this course again and recommend it to a friend.
Great!
We enjoyed playing here, good maintenance and nice challenging holes!
Love the layout of the course
Enjoy the strategy that you need to use for this course. It is shorter, but lots of creeks and blind shots to force you to play your shot well.
Decent course, Hot deals are walking only
Course was in decent shape even with some standing water as rain had hit the day before. Any HOT DEALS via this course are walking only! There were contradictions on the booking part and one spot showed this deal including a cart. Upon arrival, informed by clubhouse attendant that all Hot deals are walking only. Customer service is not a strength of this facility as I even spoke to a different attendant after my round due added cart costs with no resolve. The course was busy and slow during a weekday morning tee time. There were a few challenging holes and the course was in good shape. GolfNow was very helpful with the issue and is looking to correct the Hot deal portion so the deal is clarified.
1st time in 20+ years
Hadn't played this course since the first year or two that it had opened. What a difference 20 years makes. Course was in great shape and the trees that have matured made it a totally different track. Staff was friendly and helpful. All around a great experience and will definitely come back again. Great bang for your buck.
Wonderful 9 hole course!!!
I love playing here, you have to think all the time on what club to use! I hope everyone who reads this tries this place!
Wow. Don't miss this one.
This course will make you golf. I walked and was glad I did. It's a beautiful course that requires the player to know how far they actually hit, versus think they hit. Laying up to the wrong yardage will be a penalty.
The 9th is a great hole that requires two decisions.
I walked 9 for 14 bucks.
Great maintenance and pace! Friendly to walkers.
This is a great little course. The maintenance is outstanding for a public course in Nebraska, and the greens and fairways are far better that could be expected for a course in a small town like Milford. I was truly impressed with the course conditions. I walked the course, and no one tried to force me to use a cart--Super! It was in the 60's and windy the day I played, and not too many other golfers were on the course. I paid for 18 holes, and you simply play two 9's to get 18 holes.
The only con I have for this course is trying to figure out the layout. I stood around on the first tee for over 5 minutes trying to figure out which direction to drive the ball. The fairway is cut to the left with the mover tracks, but the directions indicate it goes to the right. There is NO way to know the hole is behind a copse of trees on the right unless you either slow everyone down to go down and look, or have played here before. Likewise, the 9th hole is a par 5, and an extremely challenging one at that. No indication is given from the tee that you should drive toward what appears to be a dropoff into a pit. As it turns out, the fairway drops about 20 feet, and that is where you are SUPPOSED to drive. A few signs or hints where to drive or hit ones tee shot would be helpful on these two holes.
Overall, a great course, don't miss the chance to play it!
Challenging. Worth the price
Challenging course. You're hitting blind on few holes. Worth the price. You can lose balls like crazy, bring a friend.
Friendly and Fun Course
The staff was very friendly and the course was fun to play, much more fun on the second nine when better able to put tee shots where they need to be. The course from tee boxes to greens was in great condition and overall it was a very enjoyable experience
Nice morning on the course
The course is well manicured however it was a little lacking in grass verse weeds. I liked the greens the rolled out very well and cosistant through all 9 holes
Would not recommend this course. Better small courses out there for the price. The greens are over fertilized and the tee boxes are awful. Not well maintained.
Hidden gem
Very pleased. Well maintained. Unique layout. Greens in GREAT condition for this time of year.
