Best 18 hole public course in the area
Great course, very nice facilities. The course was in excellent shape. My only complaint was that because it is a pubic course the greens take quite a beating. !!! FiX YOUR BALL MARKS !!!! The course is made for walking.
The front starts off pretty standard., but pretty quickly it begins to bring some trees doglegs , and tough greens into play. Stay left on 7 to be in a position to have a shot on the dogleg right. 9 is a par five that provides a chance to score coming in to the clubhouse.
The back is more challenging than the front. Longer par 4's and tougher greens. Water come in to play on the back as well. My favorite is #12. A short par 4. Stay left. Over water. No room in front or behind.

Friendly Atmosphere
This course has a great atmosphere and a good layout for the average player. Trees are not overbearing. Water comes into play on a few of the holes. The greens can be extremely fast in mid summer.

especially liked the back 9; everything was in good shape; a couple of the holes are hard to find, but overall a very good course in nice condition.
