great day of play
Very friendly staff the course was in the best shape I gave ever seen and the speed of play was great
Great Location
Bay Hills is a very nice course with hidden treasures. I really enjoy seeing the well-groomed course, wild life, rolling hills, and beautiful homes. Although the most challenging course of the several I golf in Omaha, I really enjoyed this one. I have golfed it during the Fall, and the leaves aren't so forgiving so bring extra golf balls.
Challenging course that makes you think
Uneven fairways and tough greens will make strategy necessary.
Great course
Driving range and putting green are ok. But the course is great! A set up that rewards bold decisions but penalize bad shots. Not a long course, I never hit driver, but requires accuracy. With tiny greens, and several that have heavy breaks it requires a good short game. If you haven't played this course you need to.
I would go there again
A wonderful place to play a round of golf. I would play here again. Staff was very helpful and friendly. It was worth my drive!
Bay Hills
The course is in good shape compared to a lot of area courses. Minimal winter kill but the pace of play was a little slow for a day that wasn't very busy.
Awful.
First of all I paid 14 dollars to PLAY 18 at this course, 15 dollars for my wife to ride along. Guy at front desk thought he was the greatest thing to walk this earth and very rude. The course is horrible, couldn't find one tee box without a giant slope. The only thing good about this place was the greens were somewhat in a decent condition. If you like hitting great off the tee and still having to hit on 90 degree angles for your second shot this is the place to play. Also the fairways were not mowed and as long as rough on most courses.
Total Impressed
Course was in excellent shape, greens were perfect no bad spots. Seemed like the mowing has been kept up, you can tell they have really been working on the course. Seems more open then years past. I will come out again for sure. Good place to get your game going, not easy just the way I like it.
Nice course, terrible staff.
The course itself is beautiful. The holes are challenging, but fun. The staff were not welcoming. The check in staff enforced a collared shirt for men and women dress code, but then we saw course staff in tshirts along with other golfers in non-collared shirts. Being "Golf Now" golfers also earned us very little respect and poor treatment.
Great course and excellent value
The course was in great shape and the greens were nice and fast. Always a challenging course although very fun to play.
Enjoyable Playing Course
The condition of the course was really good, the layout was challenging and enjoyable! Yes, if you're hitting to the off of center? You'll need a few balls to make up for your aim! But I had a great time playing the holes! Good and Clean and Green Course! I look forward to trying my hand & clubs at it once again..Tahnks
Extremely challenging, even goods shots can be penalizing.
This is a course that I will play maybe once a year, typically when I feel my game is steadily improving. It will demand many placement and highly accurate target shots for it to be enjoyable at all. In my opinion is by far the most challenging course in the Omaha metro. The good points are - each hole is well isolated and the views can be scenic. If you want a challenging round this is the course for you. The bad - this is the only course I've ever played where you can hit a straight drive that lands in the fairway and your ball will still funnel down and end up OB. Good shots are often times not rewarded at all. Shots that end up in the first cut of rough will funnel down into the OB area too often. Outside the first cut of rough is not maintained and the ground is very knobby. The greens are all very small and not well thought out at all. Twice in my last round, my ball would be nearly at a dead stop around the fringe and rolled all the way off the other side of the green. You will not get many flat lies, most of the time with the ball significantly below your feet, even in some fairways. The staff is rude, I had an expired voucher that kept it's "cash value" that I used to pay for my round and was actually owed money back. Henry at the check in counter failed to settle the difference. When I brought it up he stated "well it's close enough" and walked away. At least comp or reduce the price for concessions paid to equal out the difference. I've never felt they appreciated my business.
Bay Hills
Great course just south of Bellevue.
Would highly recommend!
One of eastern Nebraska's best
I enjoyed a splendid 18 holes of fall golf at Bay Hills. The course was in fine condition, the greens smooth and the layout very stimulating. The staff was friendly and the golf challenging. I consider this course to be equal to better known and more expensive courses. I recommend this course to anyone who seeks a long and wide course with numerous elevation changes, winding fairways and ample mature trees. Truly a golf feast!
GREENS WERE TERRIBLY UNFAIR
The course was not in bad condition but the greens are a joke.
They have lots of undulation which makes them challenging. When we played they must have been set at about 15 on stimpmeter. On several holes when you attempted a 15 foot putt up hill and missed it would then roll back down off the green. I believe this is why the round took us 5 hours+ to play because we weren't the only ones having problems.
For Plattsmouth, not bad
Course is spread out and no fairway is next to another. This requires drives and irons to be accurate. Great place to challenge golfer who often hits from neighboring fairway! A lot of elevation changes. Never think a hole is drivable.
lots of trees ,trees and more trees.
great value, challenging hole placements on greens.
never again
I will never ever play this course again! There are several holes that are of such poor design that a good shot may end up out of position. I also noticed a strong bias against golf now players which begs the question "why allow them if your going to treat them like second class golfers?" The pro shop is second in lack of common courtesy only to the folks at Indian Creek. At least when I leave Indian Creek I know I've played a nice and challenging course.
CAN'T BLAME IT ON THE COURSE
Over the Labor Day Weekend I was fortunate enough to be able to play two rounds of golf at Bay Hills. Just like always, the greens were challenging. But, they were in great shape and I must say, I can't blame it on the course that I couldn't hit a putt! Bay Hills is a great place to test your entire game...tee to green. Thanks for a great weekend
