This course is for locals only.
Let's start out with the positives. Pace was excellent and in general the course conditions were pretty good, although a few greens were pretty beat up along the fringes. The carts were clean and well maintained.
Overall this is a gimmick course, primarily due to the small footprint of the course. Since a number of the holes are fairly short, the defense is postage stamp greens that are mounds. They are prepared so that balls do not hold and simply roll off regardless of how approach shots are hit.
In addition due to the small footprint, the whole day is like playing in a shooting gallery. On numerous occasions we were close to being hit by wayward shots from adjoining fairways. Additionally we often had to hold up while waiting for play in our fairway going to the opposite way.
On the day we played, course maintenance was late getting off and for the first 90 minutes of our round, 11:10 tee time, we had to deal with mowers on every hole -- which happens but these guys would pull right out on the fairway in the middle of tee shots.
I was not a fan of the course and will not play it again.
