Hilltop CC is the course where I was first introduced to golf. Thus I thought all courses were like this one. Now that I've been around some more, I feel like I can shed some light on this course. Hilltop is deceivingly difficult due to its narrow fairways, rolling hills, sticky traps, and thick rough. I love the course for its terrain but it will make you sorry if you slice off your drive. It requires accuracy over power. The greens have been unpredictable as of late because they've been changing how they press the greens. It is $12 for 9 holes and I feel it is well worth the money. The pace is well controlled because the course doesn't get very busy. Your best bet for a quiet round will be at 8am any day of the week.
