Good challenge
1st time playing the course. It was in good condition with very nice greens. Not having played before found it very challenging with numerous blind shots and hazards. The young fella in the pro shop was less than receptive, more interested in his smart phone than the customer. Course is worth playing
Fall golf
Cart paths only due to rain previous day
Half the greens and fairways were heavily aerated making putting very difficult
The course has a lot of swampy areas that eat your golf balls
Awesome conditions
Got a great Golf Now rate on a gorgeous fall day. The course was in tremendous condition as usual, but maybe a little more lush due to the recent weather. Ridgewood is always fairly picturesque, but the foliage really made it spectacular. The only negative on the day was the greens weren't quite completely recovered from their fall aeration. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, a common theme, every time I've played here. One of the best, if not the best courses in the lakes region.
Nice course
Lots of swamps to gobble up your balls
Greens and fairways are good
Pretty good
Course is in pretty good shape.
Played behind the slowest foursome on earth with no ranger, 5 and 1/2 hour round..
great course for the $
greens are tough to read
Lots of swamps
bring lots of balls
Great condition but really slow play
The course is in great condition though it was very soggy on this Monday as there was a big rain night before. This necessitated cart path only rules.
Course played unbelievably slow. The ranger sat in his cart at the 1st tee and hurried you to get to the tee ion time but never saw him anywhere in the course as we were waiting on every tee box watching the group ahead of us tee off. If you are going to have a ranger, he should at least be on the course pushing the slow groups along.
Great course in general otherwise
Great round
Greens are in great shape and the course has a lot to offer great round of golf
Great condition nice layout
Best greens in the region. About a 9 and very true. Subtle slopes yield big breaks. Played the front in 1.50 then caught a sixsome, two threesom decided to play together so the back was 2.40. Not a ranger to be found. Blue tees are easy with few second shots over 150. But blacks are too long for this 70 yr old.
You won’t be disappointed.
I know what I like, and Ridgewood is on my list of likes.
Decent shape but could use some more watering!
Course is in decent shape but a little dried out. Greens are in good shape but very hard. Played late morning on a Monday and played 18 in just over 3 hours. Helps when you play as a single and several groups let me play through!
Would like to see a little more plush fairways and tee boxes.
Beautiful
Awesome course! Be aware that on the 2nd hole the ladies tees are behind the gold tees because it is a par 5 and not a par 4! This is the only hole where this occurs!
