5 hour round
Played on Monday of memorial day weekend. Pace of play was horrendous - 2 of our group walk in after 15 holes (well over 4 hours at that point). Its a short course, no way the round should take more than 4 hours. Situation was made worse by a two-ball starting on the 10th when the course was already backed up.
The course itself was in good condition and layout was fun. Short and easy to play. Would recommend if pace of play issues addressed.
Rangers need to be more visible
Group ahead of us was constantely getting into trouble with their cart because they were not payaing attention to warnings about driving into prohibited areas. Saw them drive carts right up to green, and when finished with hole they would remain on green counting their strokes. Failed to follow directions on 14 by not pushing button after drives and second shots. Perhaps starter can be proactive by asking if group has played here before and are they aware of ground rules and gps directions.
Starter/Tee time issue.
Friday afternoon round, pace wasn't bad on front 9 - starter was cutting in other groups between groups on the back nine. Took what would've been a 4:30 round, to about a 5:15 round, again, on a weekday.
Otherwise, the course is in fantastic shape, and is a fun track to play - the slowdown at the turn was an entertainment killer.
Great Course. Terrible Staff.
Been playing here for since I was a kid. Over 20 years. Staff here has always been brutal. Walk in the proshop and they’re upset you bother them to pay. Staff speaks down to customers. You always feel as if you’ve broken a rule the moment you’ve walked in. Love the track so we always come here but after a few years of consistently being spoken down to by the staff - my friends and I finally decided after tonight we aren’t coming back.
18 holes
Great day until monsoon came in. Hit by huge rainstorm and high winds toward end of round.. Got to club house in time. Very nice people
Pace
Once again almost a 5 hour round can’t figure it out as it’s not a course full of trees and water hazards . No ranger so nothing is enforced to pick up a bit that’s really the only down side here but it’s going to be the reason it will not be a top place for me to play
a good course
electric cart - occasionally, i had to put in reverse before drive forward.
The Farm
The course played well considering all the rain we had the previous five days. I enjoyed the greens which were consistent in speed and firmness.
I’d love to play again but I would never pay It’s full asking price! Thank you GolfNow.
Course
This is my favorite course. Clubhouse staff is amazing and good is very good. 18 holes , cart , and bag lunch is a great deal
Scottish highlands
First round of the year, cold & windy. Course was in pretty good shape and we played the round in 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Another great day at CSH
Great to get back to my favorite local track in Southern NH. From Joan in the pro shop to Dave the starter, it just doesn’t get any better. I’ll be back soon!
Good early condition
Campbells just opened and played well, course is dry for April. Slightly crowded on a Tuesday, round was just over four hours. Carts have electronic scorecards and gps for distance, charging jack. Driving range is closed.
Disappointing
We only played 9 holes due to the exceedingly slow pace of play. We went into the pro shop and requested a 9 hole credit and were told that they couldn’t provide a credit because we booked on Golf Now. It is disappointing!!!
Excellent condition
For how much rain we've been getting this course was in excellent shape. Staff are always pleasant.
