Great
I was a single and the starter was nice enough to let me go to back 9 with no one in front of me—9 holes in 1hr 15 mins.
Definitely going back.
WindhamCC
Perfect day for golf and the course was jam packed. We were able to tee off on time at 11:40 but it took nearly five (5) hours to play in 86 degree temps. The course was in good condition and the greens were fast and true.
This course is not wide open
Have to know when to leave the driver in the bag. Fair ways can be tight and laying up looks like the option on many holes. Overall good condition and fun course.
Just ok
Tee boxes were beat, not level, and little to no grass. I found one sand trap and it was loam not sand. Greens were just aerated a week ago so they were slow and bumpy. Fairways were decent. Overall I won't play here for another month and see how the course shapes up. They have an ok driving range but the chipping and putting green is top notch.
Windham CC
Course was in fairly good condition for this time of the year. Played as a twosome and finished in just over three hours. Some of the greens were in rough shape as they had aerated the greens.
First time here and would return
Overall a great course that I plan on revisiting again this year. Course layout was a good balance of fair and challenging. Putting green was nice and having glass to hit off at the driving range is also a plus. Played as a single in the afternoon mid week. Played 9 holes in just over and hour and ran into a group on the back but still finished in just over 3 hours for 18 holes. Course was overall in good shape. Had 1 hole where there was work being done on the back tee boxes so all we’re together at the forward tee box; was a little confusing with the flag at the top of the hill which looked like a temporary pin but the green looked open with no signage. Cart attendants and starter were nice and helpful.
Wait a week
Front nine greens aerated last week and rolled ok, back nine was closed for aeration. Course is dry and played well. Tree lined fairways, plenty of elevation, sand traps and water hazards to test the average player. Practice green and driving range open.
