Fun course
I loved the lay out, every hole was different and fun. Not a long course but moderately challenging. Greens were in great shape. It seems like they were putting money into it as well. Definitely will play it again
Not a bad course
Nice with the foliage... greens in hood shape.
Slowest golf you’ll ever play
I’ve been playing golf for almost 20 years, and my rounds at Windham Country club are consistently the slowest I’ve ever played. You can expect massive waits on several holes, in particular right at the turn from the front nine to the back. I booked a 2 PM tee time, and was on hole 13 at 6 PM. I spent 30 minutes between putting on nine, and teeing off on 10. No rangers in sight to move things along. And this wasn’t a one time thing, my previous rounds at Windham have also been this slow. Will never return, or recommend to anyone.
Target golf
Played with my husband and another guy. I did pretty well. Them not so much. I managed to hit pretty straight but not as far as the guys. If you hit too far right or left you’re gone.
Conditions were pretty good considering all the other courses in the area that are totally dried out.
Windham Country Club
The course was in great shape and the greens held the ball and rolled at a good pace. Tee and hole evaluations kept you occupied throughout the round. The tree lined holes were carved out of the New Hampshire countryside. The bunkers were well placed throughout the venue as well. The pace was slow as we waited on every tee box, but the scenery was worth the wait.
A nice challenge
Some tight windows, some more forgiving. Good course conditions all around. Pretty quiet too. You’ll like this one.
Would come back again
Challenging course that is very well maintained. Greens ran great. Loved the practice chipping/putting area. Driving range is also convenient. Pace of play is very important here. You do not want be the ones dragging every group behind. Impressive nonetheless especially after the current climate of COVID.
Solid track
Fun track, great condition, friendly staff. Plays pretty short so there are not a ton of driver holes and it’s pays dividends to do your homework the night before and understand where you need to lay up.
