Ron Jaworski's Valleybrook Country Club
About
Ron Jaworski's Valleybrook Golf Club is one of South Jersey's most popular public courses. It's a local favorite not only because of the affordable rates but also for the challenging design. The diverse terrain provides the classic layout with a mix of flat and hilly holes. On some holes you can expect elevation changes from tee to green. It's a golf course that will keep you on your toes. It will test your accuracy with its narrow, tree-lined fairways and the elevation changes throughout the course make proper club selection essential. Water hazards also appear on nine occasions. The course has appeal for players of all skill levels. It's player-friendly enough for beginners while advanced players will enjoy the many risk-reward opportunities. There is also a driving range available at Valleybrook Golf Club.

Bring less than driver. Varied clubs off the tee
Varied clubs off the tee. Shorter porch than most area courses. Even one of the par 5’s only requires a well struck 3 wood to get home in two comfortably from the tips. Downhill 475 yards dogleg right.
Plenty of par 4 holes where drive not needed on. Accuracy needed.
Good from tee to green
Played this course while visiting family. Course is in great shape and a good pace of play. I will be back.
Tough one to Review
The staff, bar and cart girl were great. Definitely could tell they were well managed and trained.
Overpriced
Jaws courses are all overpriced for the conditions and tee times staggered too close together.
Also, some of the bridges feel like they are going to collapse at any moment.
Fairway or Rough?
I'm not sure how often they mow the fairways and tee boxes but hitting out of the fairway is basically the same as hitting out of short rough. For what these guys charge, the fairways should be pristine. Greens were in pretty good condition but very very slow. Jaws loves to overcharge but he gets away with it because there's limited options out there. Atleast if you're gonna charge that much take better care of the tee boxes, fairways and greens.
It's just okay
Let me start off by saying it was a holiday weekend. That in mind, our tee time was fairly early and right away there were delays in the pace of play. The group infront of us had a walker, something I do not normally see approved on weekends or at least the beginning of the day. The staff was not particularly unfriendly, but nothing to write home about.
The course itself, is just odd. There were so many locations on this course where you might be right up to a previous hole, and really have to keep your head on a swivel for random golf balls that could land near you. Some of the fairways were a bit dead, not many though.
This was not a bad course by any means, but for what we paid for a round, I've played many much nicer courses.
Valleybrook a good day out
Played on a beautiful April Day. Many areas within 30 yards of green had choppy grass.
Course has a few blind landing spots. Not a fan when I can't see exactly where my ball goes.
There was a cart girl that we saw a couple of times. Cold drinks and hot dogs. Would always recommend a quick snack shack at the turn.
There is a stretch of holes that have you hit over water. Not a problem for me today. Only way I would have enjoyed this more is if I knew why I was hitting my driver left!
