Ron Jaworski's Valleybrook Country Club
About
Ron Jaworski's Valleybrook Golf Club is one of South Jersey's most popular public courses. It's a local favorite not only because of the affordable rates but also for the challenging design. The diverse terrain provides the classic layout with a mix of flat and hilly holes. On some holes you can expect elevation changes from tee to green. It's a golf course that will keep you on your toes. It will test your accuracy with its narrow, tree-lined fairways and the elevation changes throughout the course make proper club selection essential. Water hazards also appear on nine occasions. The course has appeal for players of all skill levels. It's player-friendly enough for beginners while advanced players will enjoy the many risk-reward opportunities. There is also a driving range available at Valleybrook Golf Club.

Great golf course
I love this golf course some holes are easy other s very difficult, greens rolled very smooth .
Played couple times before with really bad experience with their staff and rude people out in the course but since I love the golf course I came back a year later and OMG totally different experience ,can't wait to go back again.
Greens were outstanding
Interesting layout. Last time I played the course it was still Blackwood golf course, maybe 25 to 30 years ago.. Pace has of play was great. We got 18 in even though we teed of at 4:00. Really enjoyed playing.the course
Very good conditions especially the greens n fairways
Weather was the best thing
Greens were spray painted to make look better. 17th tee box was trash. Only saw cart girl once and she did not stop and ask if we needed anything. Workers on the course were rude and would not pause to let players focus. Had not been there in about 10 years. Now I know why.
Could use improvement
Some of the fairways are not in great shape, hardly any monuments to tell you hole number, par and/or a graphic layout of the hole. Looks like they’re working to improve, might be better next year.
Needs work
The course needs work. Pace of play wasn’t great. I have played there multiple times and it’s usually pretty slow.
Tee boxes are often in rough shape, signs are broken or illegible at this point due to wear and tear.
The range is solid and practice greens are nice, the bar/restaurant is also pretty good. But the course itself leaves a lot to be desired. If the tee times were reasonably priced I probably wouldn’t be so harsh, but $85-$90 for 18 here is insane.
Not nearly same value as other Jaworski courses like ramblewood
The corse is in terrible condition too many blind shots in harms way too much
It’s been 25 years
Enjoyed playing what used to be Blackwood golf course. In much better shape today than 25 years ago
OK
Not the most interesting layout, greens much slower than I remembered/expected. LOTS of unfixed ball marks on the greens. Fairways and tee boxes in decent shape considering it's been blisteringly hot and dry this summer and I assume they get lots of play. Yellow range balls all over the place. We counted 14 on one fairway and quite a few on others. Haven't been there for a number of years but I'm glad they switched the nines. Tons of geese and their droppings. I play Westwood (and except for a few stupid 90 degree angled par 4's like it very much) a lot but thought I'd check out VB since I hadn't been there since before the pandemic. Similar level of difficulty but I think Westwood is better in every other way. A few other courses in the area are, in my opinion, better as well but probably not quite as good a value. I selected no for "recommend to a friend" but only because I think there are a number of better courses in the area. In my opinion, overall VB is OK, and just OK.
Valley Brook round
Nice layout, very nice staff and shot my career round of 72 at 76 years old. So, of course I liked it.
Good value
Played here for about 10 years now. Usually pace of play is an issue but not this time. Got done in under 4 hours. Conditions are good for the most part.
Slow play
The play was very slow almost 5 hours. No marshals to push the groups along. The foursome in front of us was 2 holes behind after 13 holes
