Green Knoll Golf Course
About
Green Knoll Golf Course in Bridgewater Township has a varied terrain that provides a unique character to the course. The course sprawls across gently rolling hills dappled with mature trees. Much of the course's challenges are a result of the tricky contours. Some of the elevation changes are dramatic but there are also some subtle ones, which can be just as tricky. Further accuracy is required to maneuver the tight fairways. There are definitely challenges in store throughout but overall the golf course's playability appeals to all skill levels, from novices to avid golfers. It measures a manageable 6,443 yards from the back tees. In addition to the 18-hole course, there is also a nine-hole pitch-and-putt course. Green Knoll is one of five golf courses operated by the Somerset County Park Commission.

Course looks easy
We played a foursome, course was good but hard. For some reason they put 2 somes behind us. So we always had golfers waiting behind us, even though we let them go ahead of us.
Pace of play awful, course under construction
2 hr 50 front nine with three holes amended due to construction….waste of money on a beautiful day
Needs
Holes 8 & 9 under construction. Thats why I did not score higher for value. Staff was extremely nice and friendly.
Wet wet wet
The course should not be open when it’s this wet. Way too muddy. Very slow group in front of us got their cart stuck in mud. I helped them push it out and got sprayed with mud. That’s what I get for being nice. 17 and 18 are closed also so we only played 16 holes.
Amazing course
Course has so much character. Staff is professional and flexible. Just a MUST PLAY if you love playing new courses.
It’s ok
I got a hot deal for $24.99. It was worth it. 2 holes were closed and they knew about it. Would have been nice to know before booking. Pace of play was horrible. Started at 230 and didn’t finish 16 holes. Would have been well over a 5 hour round
Bad timing
Perhaps cause it’s this time of the year but I have never played so wet a course. Fairways, Rough, Greens and don’t even mention the traps. What I don’t understand is the the course is hilly but very poor drainage.
The golf course was very well maintained. This is a golf course I want to visit often.
First time will be back
Interesting golf course
We have played all the other Somerset county courses -,Spooky, Quail and Warren ( add a Brook to all 3 ) and Neshanic .
This course is much tougher than the 3 “ Brooks “
You’re hitting over hazards on more than a few of the holes . Elevations create many blind shots
This was our first time playing here so there were quite a few surprises. Some deep bunkers
Course is in very good shape . They were blowing leaves off the fairways , rough is thick and with many leaves it’s hard to find a ball that’s not in the fairway .
Players need to repair and take
Good course but too many ball marks and intakes traps.
Green Knoll
Course was in good shape.
Greens were aerated recently so they weren’t as good as they usually are. Typically all Somerset County courses have very nice greens.
Walked the course for the first and found it a little difficult. Didn’t realize it was as hilly as it was.
Fairways were in great shape.
Rough was thick due to the excess rain this summer.
Nice golf course with some tricky holes
The only issue was the golf carts, old and not very clean.
Mr Eric C
Terrible experience, i prepaid for two golfers, we are five 5 minutes late scheduled tee time 12:50, the starter sent others and won’t let us to catch up, he hold us to wait, he said will be quick but actually we waited for about one and a half hours, and he does nothing, we can’t wait anymore and did not play, it is terrible experience I ever had inpublic golf course
