Green Knoll Golf Course
About
Green Knoll Golf Course in Bridgewater Township has a varied terrain that provides a unique character to the course. The course sprawls across gently rolling hills dappled with mature trees. Much of the course's challenges are a result of the tricky contours. Some of the elevation changes are dramatic but there are also some subtle ones, which can be just as tricky. Further accuracy is required to maneuver the tight fairways. There are definitely challenges in store throughout but overall the golf course's playability appeals to all skill levels, from novices to avid golfers. It measures a manageable 6,443 yards from the back tees. In addition to the 18-hole course, there is also a nine-hole pitch-and-putt course. Green Knoll is one of five golf courses operated by the Somerset County Park Commission.

Fun course
Love the need for creative shots. Would recommend for sure
Green Knoll
Somerset County has done an AMAZING job with their golf courses. Amazing. They had invested little time or maintenance in them for decades but since COVID, they are among the nicest public courses I've seen anywhere in the country. When you play Green Knoll, bring A LOT of golf balls, 50 should get you through 18. Once the ball misses the fairway and goes in only 20 yards wide, you are in a mass of thick, impenetrable, impossible grass and 10 out of 10 times, you're never finding your ball. Course is in good shape, starter was excellent but no real amenities at the turn so if you're playing on a hot day, come prepared.
Nice walk
Back after 2 visits last season, still have not played 8th hole without losing a ball. Will try again.
friendly, accomodating
having a happy fun starter gives the round a fun start.. many pins are out of sight. narrow fairways, high rough makes this a challenging course. Oh yeah, there's plenty of streams and natural grass area that attracts wonderful wildlife.
Round
This course, one of Somersets, tougher courses. Great landscape, some water and hazards. Good and challenging. May need a few extra balls. ENJOY!
Comfortable course for the intermediates
I think that all courses are golf courses that intermediate players can enjoy comfortably.
Little pushy
The course itself was good. Fairways and greens are in good shape. The only dig I have with this last round played at green knoll was we were on pace for a 3-1/2 hour round and the starter had the pits to come out and tell us to pick up the pace. Normal rounds at this place are 4+ hours so we couldn't figure where he came off or why he did this.
He simply frustrated the entire group and had no other purpose.
Good Course for A Round
The course was in good condition even with heavy rain in the area. Course was not overly challenging and was a fair test for golfers of average ability. The course was not memorable though. The front nine features two holes that grabbed attention six and eight which had fairway water hazards. The back also had an interesting hole 15 which a green perched above a hazard. The greens were slow probably due to the rain the day before. It appeared to take the break out of the greens. I would play it again but will not rush to get there for an immediate replay
Hard work pays off
This is a Somerset County course.I been playing this for four or five years play the other day and it was in the best condition I can ever remember . The people there are doing a fantastic job keeping this course in Great shape in this specially with all the rain kudos to you guys! must play ,Many tee box is for all types of golfers I think you’re really going to like it
Exceptional Public Course
Course was in unbelievable condition from tee boxes to the greens. Rough was thick so it was a good challenge if you didn’t stay on the fairways. Definitely will play this course again.
Excellent conditions
Played 18 holes, excellent course conditions, friendly staff, pace of paly was very good
