First time playing course. Extremely busy due to frost delay in morning, expected this time of year. Had to wait on mostly every hole and some holes there were two groups waiting. The course overall is a nice course in terms of some really pretty holes; however, about 5-6 are straight par 4/5 holes with nothing unique to them. Cart paths are mainly dirt and greens need work. If they put money into the course could be very nice but I get the feeling it’s a local community course and that will probably not happen. I’m glad I got to play a new course and would go back as long as I can get a Golf Now deal

Considering this time of year greens were fast and true. Kudos to the greens keeper and staff. Overall fairways were in good shape. U can c they try very hard to maintain. If people would pay attention to the rules like fixing ball marks and divots the course would b phenomenal
Poor conditions
Booked on golf now. The course had no information I was coming, had to show them my confirmation on my phone. To many temporary tee boxes. No ranger, single and double golfers where jumping all over the course. It's a shame because this is a nice course. Will play again but only once or twice a year.
Solid courses
Conditions were pretty good. Couple of interesting tee boxes that were fun.
Course is in good condition
Overall the course is in really good condition. The fairways are a little high and a few sand traps have no sand, but aside from that, good condition.
Cream Ridge
Good course with tough greens. Whoever placed the pins on Thursday was in bad mood.
Hit the ball straight & you will have a good
day. Spray, and pray for a clear shot or you
will be chip back to fairway. Would definitely
play again.
Nice Day
I play here a lot But today I did not book this online ! only problem I had today was - We called and asked for opening the gentleman at the desk gave us a tee time & The price !!when we got there he raise the price??? Old guy Bill????
Ball Washers - please
Enjoy the course but they must be the last golf course left in the country that still hasn't put back up their ball washers after COVID. It's inconvenient - put them back up.
Even with record rains, course was open and playable
Course was in good shape. The girl grilling burgers and hot dogs outside the clubhouse made the round.
The whole golf course looked like it needed some extra work not a lot
no structure
I've been playing this course for over 30 years. Its not in the best conditions but the greens always ran true, and I love the layout. Although sometime the placement of the pins can be funky. (sometimes you felt you were on a mini golf course.) The starter has a lack of authority. A large group were teeing off before us, and went out as a threesome, then a foursome, then a twosome. By the time we got to the third hole I could see the threesome was already teeing off on the fifth hole, the twosome were done on the greens before the foursome even teed off which backed up the whole course. There was now a two hole gap, I called the ranger and he talked to the group but they ignored him. If the starter put them out as three groups of three the flow would have been good. I have no idea why a foursome would want a two behind them. but the whole course got backed up. When we got done with the ninth hole i went into the club house to complain and the man behind the desk said the ranger goes home at one o'clock and he'll send the starter out, he never did. It's a shame because I do like the course, but that's the 3rd time we had a problem there. I will not be playing the there for quite a while.
Ok (not great) experience
Played as a threesome. Reserved a Hot Deal tee time via GolfNow. We would not have played Cream Ridge for a higher tee time cost. Tee time costs are still overpriced at Cream Ridge and many other golf courses since the pandemic. We don't play nearly as much golf now as we used to several years ago because of the very high tee time costs. We refuse to "pay up" like many other people do who are addicted to playing golf no matter the cost.
Scheduled to tee off at 11:35 am. A two-some teed off ahead of us at 11:25 am as scheduled. At 11:26 am, another two-some was inserted ahead of us for no known reason. It turns out the inserted two-some screwed up and made a tee time for the wrong day. The starter should have paired up this two-some with the two-some that just teed off at 11:25 am! This ended up significantly slowing up our play for the first 9 holes as the two-some ahead of us only played 9 holes. Thanks Cream Ridge starter!
Greens are in good condition but overly firm on some holes. This coupled with pin placements on very sloped sections of greens made putting very difficult on these holes. Not good.
Tee boxes were in fair condition. I hate tee boxes that are crowned versus flat.
Cart parts are mostly gravel. Not a fan. I prefer asphalt paths.
Very sunny day. Temperature was 96+ deg with elevated humidity. We drank several quarts of water and gatorade each. By the 15th hole, we were exhausted.
Our overall experience was "ok" for the day.
We will try Cream Ridge again in the fall when the weather cools off and we again find an acceptable tee time cost.
