Awful condition
The course was in absolute state of disrepair. It was in such bad condition and they charged $89 for a round. That is insanely expensive for what we got.
Good county course, value for money.
East course was dry and greens were firm. Bunkers are in great condition since the renovation. Staff is friendly.
Great Golf, Stuck-Up Staff
As myself and my friend started ended our first ever game of golf, we accidentally drove onto the green of the final hole, unaware what we were doing. A man that was at the opening of the course then proceeded to call us over like a dog and talk down to us about our accident as if we weren't the people who paid 144 dollars for a course not taken care of well, covered in mud, and overall was not worth such a price. The only satisfaction I felt during the entire day was not because of a course in such a mess but because it was my first game of golf ever. This is a learning moment for me as a beginner golfer of what a course I shouldn't come back to looks like. I will not be going on this green again
No Marshalls
Pace of play gets really slow due to a lot of novice golfers. About once an hour some staffer will drive the course on a cart, giving the illusion of being a marshall checking on pace of play - but I've never seen one actually stop or interact with slow groups. It's almost as though they drive a loop on the course just to check a box - many are looking at their phones while doing so.
Great course
I really like this course. It’s well maintained and staff are very helpful. Lost my club on the course and the groundskeeper helped me find it.
Course was in terrible shape
This course was closed for 2 years for renovations and then charge people $75 to play and after alll that it was in TERRIBLE SHAPE. The fairways where horrible and had flags and roped off areas on almost every hole. I don’t understand what they did for the 2 years it was closed. Don’t waste your money there are a ton of other course that you can go to for less money that are 100% nicer
Rack Runways
I'm not sure how a newly renovated course has ZERO grass in the fairways. And they still have the audacity to charge $80. This place makes Old Orchard look like Augusta National.
Worst Golf course in Middlesex/Somerset Counties
- I have never seen fairways in worse shape.
- Millions of dollars to renovate and fix drainage and by June every fairway was burnt/destroyed from poor drainage and poor upkeep.
- this course should be less than $50 to play given the conditions.
- no beverage cart on course to buy a drink.
- I have been playing this course for years and it was never in good shape.
- I would recommend any other course before this one, and I will be recommending anyone who asks me to avoid this place.
- Only positive is the Driving range and chipping green available.
County course
This is my home course and big money has been spent. The tee boxes and greens are phenomenal but the fairways are lost from heat or overplay. They need to get the other side done soon to prevent this from happening. Also, reduce pricing due to one course open and it being banged up.
Complete Garbage
Labor Day played here with family for a holiday round. Greens were OK, Fairways were completely dead. It was like trying to hit a shot off of a parking lot. We were told the course was just renovated so were expecting much nicer conditions. Do not recommend.
Terrible
The course was just redone not long ago and the fairways were absolutely horrendous. The greens were beat up. The only nice thing about the course was the tee boxes
Terrible conditions
For a new course that is a year old, many fairways were unplayable with mud/ dried dirt spots. No comments on construction that is going on, can not change that. No excuse for how poorly the course was being maintained.
