Stonybrook Golf Club

We had great time at this course. Due to the massive amount of rain it was a tad soggy but I don't fault them for that. Got a GREAT online deal for $15 a person plus cart so it was WELL worth it. Very nice area, quiet, and a wonderful staff. Perfect course for the beginner or mid-range as practice. It's a short course with a lot of par 3's so you can play pretty fast.

This course has great potential, however it is in great need of a major renovation and face lift. Tight fairways, with overgrown, overhanging trees, makes for difficult shots from almost anyplace on the course. The greens are small, but not bad for putting, however the tee boxes are just marked out patches of poorly maintained weeds! No clear definition between fairways and rough with poorly maintained weeds and grass everywhere!
Not worth the price of admission!

Not maintained well. Cart path not clear, directions for going from one hole to another not clear. The data on each hole are different on the card versus posted near the tee.

This is a good course and pretty inexpensive. I would say the greens and some areas need attention. Especially the cart path if you use the gas carts, it'll bang your clubs around pretty fierce. Finished a foursome at around 3.5 hrs so it's a quick course to play.

So it's fun and the narrow fairways can be challenging and worth the low price, especially for hot deal times, but could use some maintenance.

As a newer player I find this a good place to try and improve my game. The course is a little tight so working on the direction of shots is a good challenge.
The staff is extremely nice and helpful.

Pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly. The clubhouse was kept neat and clean. The course was in good condition overall and especially for mid October.

Their motto was keeping golf fun, however they seem to be a little under construction, and could use some signage on where everything is, from the clubhouse to the bathrooms. It was a little confusing at first. They had recently done some fall maintenance, which made the course messy, and we got stuck behind a group of 6. Really?? I'm a beginner and even know that 's a no no. Made for slow going until they let us play through... Overall a decent learning experience but the fall leaves made it difficult to find your ball, even in the fairway. Hopefully will be nicer in the spring after they do some renovations!

this executive is a great course for beginners or if you just want to sharpen your game

If you want to leave your driver at home and work on your irons and short game, this is the perfect place. Some holes are a little goofy, ie not very playable, but there are some challenging par 3's and two legitimate par 5's. the par fours are all short and narrow. Played in less than 3 hours!

Our group of weekend hackers was looking for a decent place to play without breaking our wallets. This place is it! You can get a cart and play a round in under 3.5 hours. A few long holes but not to many to discourage us. Staff is fantastic and scenery is very nice in Hopewell. Can't say enough about it and we enjoy it very much!

I play this course relatively often. It usually is in better shape at the beginning of the season because it is closed in the winter. The greens are small and somewhat slow but the course layout is interesting and good for working on your short game. Pace of play can sometimes be slow but everyone who plays here is quite friendly and will allow you to play through. Overall a great value and a good way to get in a quick 18 holes!
