Farmstead Golf & Country Club - Clubview/Valleyview Course
The Clubview nine, which opened in 1963, is the original course at the 27-hole Farmstead Golf & Country Club, located in northwest New Jersey, approximately one hour from New York City. Offering a traditional mix of par 3s, par 4s and par 5s, accuracy is key on the Byron Phoebus-designed course. The Clubview nine closes with two very demanding holes, the long par-4 eighth, with an approach shot over water, and the par-3 ninth, which is surrounded by water.

Tournament playing in between public outings made slow playing pace. Customers should be informed before selling tee times, so we can decide.
I play here often and do enjoy it. Greens were a little ruff in areas but overall had a nice day out. Will be back!
Farmstead is one of my favorite courses to play. It's always in great shape from tee to green. Extremely well maintained. Highly recommend! .
The course is in very good condition except for the tee boxes. They need some work.
I have played here weekly for years, good value and nice people make a great day
Nice to play here
Good course for an intermediate level golfer. Nice layout and friendly staff.
played sunday!!!!!!! payed 69 $ the greens were terrible no wait slow- horrific !!! they were so bad ! the hole its self looked like it was cut with a saw ! very very disappointed with the greens! JUST TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!
course is really good! would give 5 stars but greens are inconsistent and always slow!!!!!!!!!!! use a heavy putter or put some lead tape on it -2 pieces before u play!!!!! great deal with golfnow! $$$$$
I very nice course
I like the country like feel to the course. Most of the time you can find your ball if you leave the fairway. Water comes into play on several holes. There are two holes on the back 9 of the club 9 where there is a finger of water that protrudes into the fairway that if you haven’t played the course before you wouldn’t know it’s there so be careful. I thought that most of the par 3’s were too long but I loved the wide fairways. In general the conditions were good the fairways were in good shape. The were quite slow and bumpy, they could use a good cut and should be rolled. Overall a fine day on a very nice course.
Golfer friendly course
Played yesterday. I enjoyed playing this course because it is a friendly challenging course for every type of golfer and always in really good shape for as much play it gets.. I recommend you play this really enjoy it !
