Farmstead Golf & Country Club - Lakeview/Clubview Course
About
Water comes into play on six holes on the Lakeview nine at the 27-hole Farmstead Golf & Country Club, which is located in northwest New Jersey approximately an hour from New York City. None is more challenging than the closing hole, a very short -- but very intimidating -- par 3 over water. The Byron Phoebus design opened in 1965.

Good golf course for the money and very friendly staff, I enjoyed my round.
farmstead
good deal! why do people think they can just walk on the coarse and play when they cant break 200 ?they dont belong on a golf coarse!
Always a Solid Place to Golf
This is my 3-4th time coming here and we always love it! Went with my friend and our 2 boyfriends and we always have the best time. Will 100% continue to come back
Great conditions and slow play
Farmstead should use their rangers to better patrol the speed of play on their course. Playing a five hour round because players are looking excessively for their balls or taking second shots is not enjoyable. The course is in very good condition as the rough is kept high and the greens are fast. Very few divots on the tee boxes and greens.
Played the Valley Course
We only wanted to play 9 holes so the Valley course was perfect for that, fairly available. Valley is different than Lake and Club 9's in that it's shorter and has way more uphill, downhill and sidehills lies. The only real "issue" I had with the course was the greens were quite slow but in nice shape. It would also be nice if golfers would fix their ball marks on the greens. I fixed 5 or 6 more ball marks on the greens than our group made. Disappointing.
Some people puush
Felt some what pushed from the group behind us but that is their issue . . . . We enjoyed our time and round. Had lunch here prior and it was outstanding.
Enjoy your time here.
