Indian Spring Golf Club
About
Indian Spring Country Club in Evesham is situated right at the heart of the historic town. The golf course is a local favorite that is known for being one of the most affordable rounds in the area. The layout starts with a wide-open front nine that's fairly gentle but don't be fooled, there are more challenges in store on the wooded back nine. Originally opened in 1952, the golf course has matured into a scenic challenge with towering trees shading the fairways and framing the greens. The beautifully maintained landscape earned the course certification as an Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary. The Indian Spring C.C. layout twists and turns, providing some interesting angles and tricky blind shots. Water doesn't have a prominent presence but there are a few lakes that make an appearance on the back nine.

Course steadily improving
I play with a foursome and we play here every month or so. It's one of the nicer public tracks in the area. There's a range around the corner and the putting green is consistent with the regular greens. This course was vandalized a couple of years ago and it was a shame. They put some money into improvements over the last winter and spring and it looks good. Staff is great, food is great, fairways and greens are in good shape, what else can you ask for?
Greens need help
Other than the greens, the course was in good shape. For some reason the greens were scraggly, with many foot prints around the hole. ( We didn't have rain to effect this.) Good layout, enough challenges to make it interesting, and a quick round. Overall enjoyable time
Great Hot Deal
Luckily the pace of play was 3 hours since it was extremely hot, but could not pass up the great value on the Hot Deal.
Course is in nice shape, management is doing an excellent job maintaining course conditions.
Nice day on the links!
Best value in South Jersey
Great course for price! A plus bunkers, fairways and teeboxes in good shape. Greens needed a little bit of work. Overall good course for $37 on the weekend. Only complaint was the pace of play, took 5 hours to play 18...
This course is fairly easy and was in great shape.
I went to NJ to visit family and decided to bring the clubs down from NYC. After playing the municipal courses in NYC for the past several outings, I have lots of patience with slow play. I am please to say that on the front side we didn t have to wait hardly ever. Just at the par 3's. Although during the back 9 we waited consistently before each whole. This was kinda annoying but it was a beautiful day and what do expect.
SCHWEGGS
Not much fun playing as a Twosome behind a Fivesome!!
Yes that is not a typo - the group ahead of us had Five Golfers.
Terrible Course Management!!!!!
golf to relax
all went well. enjoyable round of golf. pace of play was 4.5 hrs but it was a sunday so not bad at all
Made improvements to a solid public course
The course was in better condition than I remembered from year's past. The fairways were well maintained and the rough was thick throughout. The greens were the opportunity as there are a lot of ball marks and other bumps in them. The non-resident rate with a cart is too high. If you can get something better than the advertised rate then it is worth it.
greens
$30 good price, not worth much more than that.Greens could be better.
Good, cheap course
Difficult for a first time player to know where to hit the ball, as there are a few doglegs and such, but no pictures on the scorecards or on the hole markers. It's maintained well enough for the price. Slightly annoying that the driving range is separate from the course (only half a mile away, but still, you need to get in your car and drive over there and then back).
Solid Value
Played Indian Spring over the weekend with a few friends. I've been to the course a couple of times of the past few years, having last played at the end of last summer. When I was last here, the fairways were completely torn up. This past weekend was markedly better. The course is pretty wide open, without a ton of hazards which is perfect for a hack like me. I don't know if the threat of rain kept people away or if it was because it was mother's day weekend, but we never had to wait to take a shot and the group behind us was about a hole behind for the entire round. The greens fees were very reasonable compared to other local public courses. Overall, it was an enjoyable day out on the golf course.
Liked this course a lot.
Nice course, well maintained, and super friendly staff. Really great for the price.
Good
Good course challenging but not too extreme. Good food window and good conditions of play
Par for the course
First round of the season.
Course was in fair shape; wait a month.
Hole #2 - Green still under re-construction from last fall. Most bunkers still need better drainage.
Greens overall still fast which is why I rate this course MODERATE instead of FAIRLY EASY.
Holes 5, 8 & 18 still my favorites.
Still worth the price.
This is not a place to play on any Wednesday .. The woman's league play wont let you get 18 in!
Never waist your money & time playing this place on a Wednesday, they woman's league play wont let you get 18 in, the sad par is the pro shop knows it and will book you for 18!
Nice course to play
Course was in good condition. Greens recently aerated so they were sandy and a pain. This should change by next week or so. One green was covered and makeshift green was in fairway. This shows they are working on maintaining the course and it played nice for the most part. This course should be in excellent shape within the next few weeks.
Not worth 35$
Still wet out there, greens need to grow in and be cut. Was a good day, the putts just don't roll right.
Worth the 17$ but I wouldn't pay more than 25$ until the course get's it's first grooming.
First time here
First time playing the course. Layout was good, greens were rough. Looks like they're making improvements. Girl in the beverage cart was smoking hot
Winter Golf
For a March day it couldn't have been more pleasant.
The course was damp from all the rain and snow melt but was in surprisingly decent condition, all considered. Greens were fast, and a bit pocked from inconsiderate players and going all winter w/o any serious grooming. Fairways played well - it appears that good Spring grooming should yield a lush fairway generally. My wife and I enjoyed playing at a fairly good pace, with players in front and back, everyone was courteous. Much face-lifting going on inside and out - should be a nice course this summer.
