Mays Landing Golf Club
About
Former president of the PGA of America, Leo Fraser, designed the 18-hole public course at the Mays Landing Golf Club with both advanced and beginning golfers in mind. Touted as the "best birdie for the buck," the Mays Landing golf course provides a great value for all golfers. The course was meticulously designed over 175 acres of beautiful pineland with scenic tree-lined fairways.
Mays Landing Golf Club provides an experience similar to one at a private country club with its excellent service and amenities including a pro shop, restaurant, and PGA instructors on site. On hot days they even have cool towels for you and they always have roaming beverage carts. The course is 6,633 yards at the longest tees, playing to a par of 72.

Not worth the money
Course was in terrible shape except for a handful of greens. Some fairways were literally just crab grass and sand. No water in clubhouse or on course. Only reason $70 was even close to worth it is because it was the only course in the area with morning Tee Times.
Good course layout
Unfortunately the course is in dire need of a few good days of steady rain. Some of the greens were in bad need of repair. The fairways had many bad spot where you had better move your ball or put a toll on your shiny golf clubs. On the high end; my wife and I could see the effort in preparing the course design. The atmosphere was very friendly with a lot of golfers as same as my wife and I senior golf group. Seniors are most friendly and wave you through if they think they are playing slow. We would play this course again when we are in Atlantic City.
Uncle grouch
Great value for Atlantic county. They need a little more maintenance but we had fun. Had to roll a few fairway shots for some grass.
Always fun but
Good day to play weather hot not busy, but I’m sure it was because people know course is in bad shape. 10” grass just off the fairway, around tee boxes, shame. But because I haven’t been playing well lately for the money was ok
Run Down
Cheapest course around to play mid day on a weekday. But the course was not in good shape. Front 9 greens were aerogated like a week ago. So greens were not in good shape. Back 9 was better. Fairways were fair. Next time I would pay more to play elsewhere.
Woof
Just wow.
They don’t even mow the fairways anymore.
They don’t even try.
$90 for a twosome is more like robbery than a greens fee.
I can tell you not one cent goes toward keeping that course decent.
Expect literally nothing from this course. Terrible.
Sad sad course
I haven't played Mays Landing in a couple of years. I could not believe the deplorable conditions of the course. I never thought it was in real good shape. I feel sorry for the shore vacationers who book this course and will definitely feel like they were robbed.
